I know how you feel!!!!! That has happened to me too and when you buy something you expect to be the one that uses it! I don't blame you at all for being upset! I was too!

thanks for sympathizing with me jill. i was really upset. my heart was in revolution. ^__^;; i made him pay triple for it. LOL and i didn't tell him the real price. when i told him to pay, he said it was expensive and that maybe i was scammed by the store. LOL if only he knew. LOL

I'm sorry you are so pissed with your brother. It's a thing that has happened to me too. I share with my sister almost anything and we never ask each other if we can use things of the other one, so when I buy something only for my self it happens that she uses it the same If I want to keep a thing for me fisrt of all I have to shout to her and everyone "It's only FOR ME don't touch it!!". I don't know what the relationship with your brother is like but maybe next time is better that you warn him if a thing is only for yourself (shouts and hits in the head are advised :D )

Well, hope you can find it in your heart to be a little more accpeting, and forgive him, as maybe it was an accident and he did not know he was drinking something you were saving, and maybe thought it was there for him. Just try to enjoy your time, and remember sometimes we may not be able to change our circumstances in what happens to us in life, it is what we do from here on out that makes more of an impact and helps. Happy New Year my friend.

I can not imagine how angry you really are, but I hate when people do take things that´s not really theirs. I can not believe he actually did that. How stupid can you be. Take something that is not his. It´s beyond my imagination. And than on top of that, take it all and not leave a drop to the owner that is really, really nasty done. Not a god way to start the new year, being angry with a family member, I do hope you will make him pay dearly for what he did, I know I would.

Well, isn't that just the limit. But haven't you heard of sibling rivalry. That, I thought, is what brothers DO! No? Mine don't because we are all tee-totalers. Doesn't that just put a damp on your Spirits! All we can do is hope that he got a nasty hangover. Eh?

I really do not understand people who, for whatever reasons they have, feel it is okay to take, use, eat, etc. someone elses property without even the minimal amount of remorse or concern. When I first came to live in my friends house, she also had these two other people that, thank god, have since moved into their own place; needless to say, I always found I had to use my cooler for all of my cold foods b/c this woman thought that, b/c it was in the refrigerator, it was fair game. I am on a very limited amount of income right now and buy only a few itmes here and there. She ate a few things of mine and drank all of my bottled water without even asking first. It made me furious and what was worse, the woman I live with now, who owns this house, never even said anything nor did it seem she was too concerned about it...Her "friend" could apparently do and say whatever she wanted and she never said anything to her...sooooooooooooo, I DO understand your anger!

hi moodus! thanks for understanding my anger. i really hate it when people take my things without my knowledge. back in college i also lived in a boarding house but luckily, i didn't experience what you experience. our landlady provided us with our own cabinet and she showed concern about our own personal things. anyway, this taking of my things always happen here at home. and i would really go berserk everytime it happens. this kind of thing happens only once in a while. but before, it always happens. i guess they have learned their lesson a little. ^__^;;

I know it is the worst thing when people, related or not, feel that whatever is there is for the taking...I have been less inclined to worry about my items now since those two idiots moved out..Needless to say, I did try what you had said you did by marking my name on things and saying do not touch...When I did that, it still didn't matter to that woman b/c she would take it and eat/use it all up anyway...That's why I said I was down to using my cooler to keep my cold items away from her mouth...The stuff that didn't need to be cold I kept with me in my room too..How sad is that when others don't seem to have any manners when it comes to using and/or eating other peoples stuff...That's one thing I will always have a pet peeve about...I hope your situation has gotten better for you!

good for you those people already moved out. and maybe you can tell that woman to stay out of your things respectfully. ^__^;; things are better for me now, thanks. but i can't tell if it will be the same in the future. i just hope my brother learned his lesson well. i made him pay and it hurt his waller after all. That would have made me mad too. He should have asked who it belonged to before he drank it. When I buy something for me then I don't want someone else to use it unless I tell them to.

Things like this really happen often. We can't do anything but to control ourselves for the worst thing that occurred. Anyway, your brother was wrong in a way. He must have asked you in the first place really.

secretbear, I too have the same problem except it is my son who disrespects others. He takes from others whatever he wishes and pitches a fit if someone does the same to him. I am past angry and have grown very concerned; he is now 19 and I am beginning to wonder if he will ever change. Your brother should be ashamed of himself; but, not to worry, there is such a thing called karma. Use your energy to focus on more positive things in your life, karma will take care of your brother, lol.

you should teach your son a lesson roberten. its really annoying when someone messes with your stuff and act as if its not a big deal but when you mess with their stuff, they behave like it was the damnest thing you've done to them. like, only them has the right to mess with other people's stuff and get away with it and the right to be furiously mad when someone messes with their stuffs. .

hi kun! ^__^ its so hard to argue with parents right? but lucky me, my mother doesn't really mess with my stuffs. coz she's the only one here at home who really knows about respecting other people's stuffs. my poor brother didn't inherited that trait/ .

hehe.. Since your brother din inherite that, than u as a sister will have to teach him and make him pay for it in any ways that u can think of so that he will know better if he tries to mess around with your things again :) hehe..

Secretbear, Some years ago, I sent a gift to my friend through my sister. Later, I realized that without my knowledge my sister opened the gift and took one of the stuff, which was meant for my friend. I got too pissed off that, I scolded her so badly that she could not even see my face for about a week. But, after some weeks, I felt so bad for my little sister for scolded her so badly. I even regret for what I had done to her. So, I went and told that I forgave her. She too told me that she would never do the same thing again, and she keeps her promise that she never does the same mistake again till today. I just hate when someone takes my belongings or something that is meant for someone else. I strongly believe that even though we are sisters, brothers or one family members, we should always show respects to each other. I find it very unfair to touch someone else's things without asking his/her permission. I can imagine and understand your angry. Anyways, one day your brother will come to know that he had done something wrong and that he has to know some lesson. Cheers!!!!

hi teteimathews! ^__^ i would have been mad to my sister too if that happened to me! i would have been furious if my sister opened the gift i intended to give for my friend. isn't it hard to learn the common sense that when a stuff is not yours, you should not mess with it and if your curious what is it, then ask for the permission to look at it or touch it from the owner?? you're so right. even if we are siblings, we should always respect our own privacy. being siblings doesn't give anyone the right to mess with one's stuff. thanks for relating with me teteimathews. ^__^

I hate when something like that happens, specially when someone takes stuff that I buy every day. I have found this ice-cream that looked so delicious and I put it in the freezer and had to live house for a few hours. When I got back there was no ice cream any more, my mother had some friends over and she offered the ice cream to them. I was really pissed off because my mother usually does that she always gives the best things to the guests, she was doing that when I was little too. I bought that ice cream in a shop some 6km from our house and I rarely go there and you can't find it in any other shop. They can buy 10 other ice creams but it is not that one that I really wanted to try. My folks don't get that because they don't like ice cream so it is the same what they eat.
