G/F prefers canine closeness over human

This woman I have been "seeing" for the last 2+ years has shown me that, not only do some people prefer being with/sleeping with their dogs, but she has slowly pushed me away and never shows me the time of day when it comes to bedtime...she would prefer I sleep somewhere else every night and she takes her dog to bed with her and seems fine. No, I'm not talking about anything kinky or weird, but what kind of person shuns a human beings' love and closeness and prefers sleeping without them? She has systematically cut me out but when I talk of wanting to be with someone else, she freaks as if I am supposed to remain with her and be completely unhappy and unfulfilled over having someone in my life who actually ENJOYS my company and WANTS me around! Any thoughts on that one??

Its a rough situation over there. If I were you I wouldn't tolerate the nonsense. Of course significant others can have their pets and that companionship but to the point completely cutting you out...that's discouraging in my view (and I've seen/read it before from a few others). Again, I say you should be with the person you want, especially if the person you are with currently is now being completely distant.
