Funny thing I am Chinese so for Christmas we usually have a combination of American food and Chinese food as our main courses. We would have BBQ pork and spareribs and roast pork then we would have honey ham, roast turkey, candy yam/sweet potato, cranberry sauce and soy sauce and so on...what kind of food do you serve? Do you serve Chinese food?

I am from the USA and I will not be having Chinese for Christmas. I had a traditional Christmas dinner of ham, mashed potatoes, green beens, jello salad and tossed salad. For dessert, we had coconut creme pie, YUM.
I love chinese food, just not for a Holiday meal. If I was from an Oriental decent, I am sure that I would think differently. I hope your Christmas was absolutely delightful!

here in the Philippines it is very ordinary for us to serve food such as Chinese, American and Spanish...we usually eat chinese foods such as noodles, dumplings such as siomai, meat buns or siopao plus burgers, barbecues etc. in all seasons, whether during ordinary days or on some occasions.
in fact we have a belief here that it is good luck to eat noodles or pancit especially during birthdays and new years. it is a sign of long life.
