I don't know how to explain this, but that's how I felt while and after reading his novels. Yes, they are interesting and they speak about controversial themes we are all interested in. But there is more to it than that. There's something in his style that makes you unable to put the book down until you finish it. Did you have the same sensation? Can you find an explanation for it?

I think its his unique way of tying in suspense and good characterization that works his magic. Because I think its the suspense that keeps us reading and the characters the keep us totally and completely enthralled in the storyline. But I too feel the same way you do, Dan Brown is an amazing writer!

Ha You Are right there is something in Danbrown that draws me to his novels...
His way of narrating and the way he unveils the plot is superb and all the novels the main villian is always the unexpected and he is definitely closest to tha hero or heroine....

What makes them so haunting and fascinating to me would be that who's to say that Dan Brown is wrong? I mean this book was written upon theories that have studied for centuries. That is what makes it so intriguing to me anyway :)

the originality n the authenticity of the facts provided by the author make it worthwile... n thts the reason why somebody cant put it down.. atleast tht holds true for me cause i like the fact tht am learnin somethin bout the history (like in da vinci) or bout science (in angels n demons, deception point or digital fortress)... i love the codings, secrets revealed thru interestin methods. i feel like creatin them myself...

..to me it all has to do with the haunting magic of life.. that ultimate truth is an intriguing mystery and mysteries are mysteries, as are conspiracy theories.. I think there's just enough 'truth' weaved in to make for a fascinating read... I mean even Truth (in this world) has some untruth weaved in, after all this is the world of illusion.. I believe ultimately we will all find that the Truth is more haunting and fascinating, great and exciting than anyone has ever imagined..
