I think it would be cool and fun if we could add smileys to our post here. Not just,..:P, or...:D...or whatever, to symbolize the smileys; but the actual smileys themselves.
Does anyone else think that it would be cool if we could add smileys to our post here in mylot?

I would love to have cute little smileys. I'm always typing them, but sometimes they don't come up right, especially if the line winds up formatting funny when you post. Also, a lot of people who aren't big on internet use don't understand the :) ones or whatever. My favorite is :P, and I had to explain to a few people that this was me sticking my tongue out at them... whereas if we had real smileys they could see that!

I know a lot of them because I was online a lot before having the picture smileys was really popular or feasible. Back when it took so long to load a page with pictures on it that my friends and I would start something loading and then go do something else for a while. *laughs* I also know them from programming classes when I was in school. :P

Why HECK YA!! I'm a smiley face addict and it's just not the same to look at the symbol rather then the actual smiley face itself. I think my absolute favorite is the one that is literally rolling on the floor laughing...I LOVE IT!!

I am all for it. It would make us feel much better and let them know whether you are being serious or saying something with your tongue in cheek. Mind you there are different kinds of smileys, so you will need one for a big grin, one for a half smiles, one for not to sure, and one for well I really did not mean it and I was mocking you. Yes those smileys are going to come in handy.

I've been thinking that a lot myself lately. GREAT idea! Sometimes the smileys help to make a point with emotions.

Thanks blueunicorn, I also thought that they would be helpful in clarifying a persons true points and or emotions; as well as being fun.

Yes I would also love it if mylot has the option to add smileys and emoticons and other formatting options that can be used to make our posts look more colorful and better in appearance.I think this discussion should be taken to an upper level to mylot administrators so that they notice it and account this as a future change for mylot.

Thanks kashifmahmood. I think maybe I will send this request to the administration. Especially if I can find others who would like these things and are maybe willing to send request to adminstration for them also, as I think many request would be more effective than just one.

That would be cool. So many other places have them. But I do know that there are some "adult" type emoticons so someone would probably want to spoil the nice things for us. But, I will keep smiling anyway, Right?
