I want to share with you all a few things in my life that bring me joy, and a few things I am proud of.
Then I want to hear from you!
Ok, I'll get us started.
I'm proud to be a red head. When I was a kid I hated it but as I grew up I embraced it, and now my red hair is my trademark.
I'm proud to be a man. But not your typical man. I am proud to be a man who is in touch with his own feeling and sensitive to the feelings of others.
I'm proud to be an American. There are alot of things wrong in this world/country but no matter how bad things look I can always fight to have it changed without fear of being locked in jail for my views.
I'm proud of my mother, who after she finally divorced my father she is a strong, intelligent, and loving woman. The sun never sets on my pride for my mother.
I am proud of my father, who after the same divorce was able to forgive himself for his awfull mistakes and even find love once again. Anyone who is strong enough to admit they where wrong, and forgive themselves is very strong in my opinion, and I am bursting with pride for my dad.
I am proud of my job. It may not be the highest paying, or the most glamorous, but it keeps a roof over my head bills paid and presents under the tree at christmas time.
I am proud of my nephew, who at five years old dosent need to be reminded to say thank you when a waitress bring him his food. "Saying thank you is good manners, Uncle Matt." I could have cried when I heard him say that.
I am proud of my family because they would take a stranger off the streets if they came knocking.
I am proud of myself every day I get up and go to work, and then school. Even on the days when it seems like its all for nothing.
I am proud of my relationship with the most wonderfull, careing and kind person I have ever met. My love for Brian is only surpassed by my pride in him for his backbone, his strength and his resolve, even though you would never know how strong he is because of his quiet peacfull nature.
I could go on, but I really want to hear from everyone else.
What in your life make you so proud you could just cry?
Tell everyone about it! Shout it from the rooftops!

I'm proud of my ears because my ears are nice-shaped.Chinese people believe that if a person has a pair of nice-shaped ears, good luck will bless him/her.
I'm proud of my dear friends. They are so nice to me.Although some of them are living in another city but we still keep in touch online and share laughter and tears with each other. Thanks to my dear friends because my life is wonderful and interesting for their existences.
I'm proud of my family. My parents give me life and feed me up.They teach me to be a nice person to the society. They are my models.

Another proud Chinese person - I am so gratefull to make your aquaintance!
In your list of reasons why China is so great, you left out one thing: Chinese people are HEALTHY! I have noticed most Chinese people care for their bodies and thier environment more than other cultures I have seen.
It sounds like you are surrounded with love and beauty, and I admire you for that very much.
If I was Chinese I would no doubt love it as much as you do, because you certainly have every reason to be proud of your country, your friends and your family.
You have a friend in America!
All my love,
Tee

I loved the list of things you are proud of. Some of them I am in total agreement with your on.
I am proud to be an American as well. You are right America is not perfect but we are trying to be the best we can.
I am proud of my daughter who is going to graduate highschool this year. She is going to high school in the morning and college in the afternoon. She is very smart and pretty as well. She is the light of my life.
I am proud of my husband who works hard every day to make money to keep food on the table and a roof over our heads. He is a very understanding man and my life partner.
I am vey proud of my dad who is a work aholic. He is 66 years old with arthritis in his bones. He is in pain twenty four hours a day but he gets up and goes to work every day.
I am proud of my mom who raised me. She was a stay at home mom. She took care of me as well as my dad. She is still taking care of my dad.
I am proud of my cousin. She raised a daughter on her own with no help from the father. She is still going strong. Her daughter is now working full time and going to college to be a nurse. Way to go cous.
My family has struggled through year after year. We may not have a lot of money but we have lots of love.

I could have cried reading this response. Your whole family - especially your father - makes ME proud of him, and I dont even know him!
Also your daughter - I know grown adults who couldn't handle that kind of load. It really restores my faith in the future to know people like her will inherite the world one day.
This response brought me alot of happiness, and I hope when you push away from your keyboard you let others know the sources of pride in your life. Even the smallest thing can be a source of unimaginable joy, and I have noticed it sets off a chain reaction with only positive returns.
Thank you SO much for shareing this. I wish you all the best for you and your fantastic family!

Well, here goes. I am proud of my three beautiful children, my loving husband, my mother and my step dad, my country, and myself. I couldn't be more proud of anything else in my life, except that I am extremely proud to be a child of God. I wouldn't have near the things I have today without Him and I am proud to say I'm His. God bless

Things making me proud are too much, but what makes me proud most is I am a student, for I have plenty of time to do what i am willing to do, to learn what i am interested to study. That is to say, i have great freedom i could not get after graduating.
