Scanning the profiles of members.

Deepak, your post is making me thoughtful. Many times I think to go through the profiles of my friends but I feel sorry not being able to do that. It's lack of time and to some extent lack of motivation. I admit. Deepak, I had checked the photos that you uploaded some time back and think have commented on some of them. Those show your talent in photography besides befriending enemies. *giggles* Did you check worthy's? I will have to check my remaining bunch of friends', specially the new ones and comment on them. It feels good to see the person you are talking to - the rendezvous increases manifold thus. This reminds me that that should be some kind of alert as in many other forums which tinkles you about the updates in your friends’ profiles. I know I am being lazy but then that would be easier for all I guess. What do you think?

I dont usually pay much attention to people's profiles. I base my responses on interest of the discussion. It really doesn't matter to me how people look, what their views are on internet work & what programs they are promoting. It is just the overall quality of the discussion and/or response that attracts me to a person (in an intellectual way). On the rare occassion I have checked peoples profiles.

I do not scan profiles closely i must admit. sometimes when i find there is really something related to the character of that person, i may scan it well. I also feel we should atleast scan for our friends.

the picture in my mylot profile is my own photograph. i uploaded some pictures also in my mylot album. please check that also.i uploaded two pictures in my album. one is the side view of my face and other is top view of my college.thanks for all those who viewed it

What exactly will this do? Scanning the profiles that is? I've checked some mylotters pictures on their profile, yet it doesn't show any personal pictures of themselves, but rather pictures of scenery, buildings, paintings, etc...just like yours has no pictures of yourself. What does this say about you? That you would rather keep your identity hidden...and that's okay. :)

Sometimes, I do scan other members' profiles. I like to know some of their personal information. I don't really browse on the pictures but I will try to do it next time.

Dear DPK, I have no time even to organize my own profile by giving proper colours and layout. That being the case I really do not have time to go through any of mylotians profile.

Though I sometimes do catch a glimpse of the profile page, it's mostly for the discussions and I don't really pay attention to the pictures unless they are right on top of the page. I am sorry to say that I didn't notice the pictures on your profile. Most of the time, I check the profile page only if it is a new addition to my friend list. I don't always go back and check the profile page of my friends. I guess myLot should have a notification when myLotters have updated their profile. When we have so many friends we will not be aware of the changes when it happens. Wow! Are these pictures you took?

I have to admit that lately I didn't look at users profile with details. I only check who is active. I saw your pictures, very nice.It makes me feel that I have to travel to India.

I do not scan the profiles usually,unless something catches my eyes.like you i too look for a few details of a member.now i'll make it a point to be more observant.I saw your pictures.they are lovely nature pictures,though i was hoping to see your photo too.:)

Hi Dpk. If I get a particular response from someone other than a friend that I like, I go and check out their profile page to find out a bit about them. Sometimes I add them as a friend and other times I answer a few of their discussions.

hi dpk, i check your profile its nice picture shot and view of those beaches and water falls i do not also really check all my friends photo maybe only half of them but i will tried to check and visit their profile so i can see what picture they have also:-)

Yeah I am guilty of this too I don't think of looking at a members profile but, you are right we should look at them.
