In our culture here in the Philippines, it is embarrassing for girls to court guys. Girls do all these stuff to attract guys to them. Personally, I really don't do make up and lipstick unless I'm going to a formal occasion. I really like it natural. Some of these girls tend to be desperate to attract guys that they overdo makeup and sometimes go into surgery just to look good.

Ha ha, It seem that the main reason for woman do this is to court guys, I also think so, and As you known, Men also always make themself more handsome go get the girls's good impressing.

i think women enhancing thier beauties by putting lipstics, makeup, face-lift etc. cuz they want to look or stay beautiful especially when they are not that good looking or they are in the stage of wrinkling and i find no fault about doing those things.

Everyone wants to be in good looks while other see them.some women tend to be overconcious about their beauty.

This could be due to a number of things. Some women want to compete with other women's looks. Some women want to attract men, and some want to attract other women. Some women are insecure about their looks, so they "cake" on the make-up, etc. to conceal what they really look like. Why do men want to get buff and prove how much money they have? I think it's for some of the same reasons I've just mentioned (wanting to attract others, insecurity, etc.)
