I've never had major complications due to having to "tend" to my monthly, womanly duty. What is it that makes some women have cramps etc., and some not have cramps or other complications?

MisChasi You made a really interesting point. I started my period when I was 14 (too much info, I know), so maybe this is the reason why I don't have major complications.

I was very fearful of swimming during my childhood. I somehow thought that if I swam in the deep end, I would automatically sink to the bottom. A good friend recently got me to overcome this fear by advising me to swim by the edge...

MisChasi Thanks, and I understand what you mean about never gesturing, etc. I was getting embarrassed about having to ask their names so many times. Happy teaching :)

MisChasi No. Look at me; does it look like I need to wear make-up? I'll talk about a couple of things I think about this topic: 1. I think make-up is nice, but in small quantities. When people wear enough make-up that is fit for a clown, there's something going on...
