Do you think that the missile will be successful in shooting the satellite before it enters the earth's atmosphere? I'm not sold out on this idea. I think people are going to get hurt even if they do shoot it. I think this situation is more dangerous than they're admitting. What are your thoughts on this?

This is the best option available to them. The Chinese just blew up on of their satellites and it came down in little pieces small enough to burn up in the atmosphere.
This is the object of shooting it or blowint it up before it enters the lower atmosphere. The smaller the particles are the better the odds are that they will burn up before they get all the way through the atmosphere. Then they will not hit the ground or they will be so small that they will cause no damage.
