What kind of temperament does your yorkie have? Are they hyper? My little one is a yorkie/chihuahua mix. She has such a fantastic personality and loves to be held and cuddled. She does great staying here in the day time by herself and hardly ever has an accident in the house.
She loves her little treats but is picky about that and her food. She will only eat pedigree little champions and she prefers chicken to beef.

My yorkie is very spoiled. She can be very stubborn, demanding and lazy at time when she doesn't want to walk outside, she wants to be carried. She is old so she isn't very hyper anymore but she has her spurts of energy. My yorkie is a yorkiepoo, so she has poodle in her. She is very loving, she loves to have her belly rubbed allot. And is allergic to most dog foods so we feed her cut up chicken.

I think the yorkie temperament is such a sweet and loving nature. My Baby's father is my aunt and uncle's dog and I don't think Gizmo ever met a stranger. He loves it when we bring Baby down to visit him. They have an absolute ball playing together.

I do not know much about Yorkies except they were the kind of dogs the Queen of England has or had. We had a ShitsuPoodle mix and a runt and she was quite exciteable and fussy. She did not like dog food and when we bought any, it was usually the Kibbles and Bits, and we would mix in scraps from the table. She never liked the canned dog food and being small, we would have had the can in the fridge for some time anyway. She was very good when we went for a walk, did not run off, but she was very bossy and would tell bigger dogs what to do.
She was always on the go, and even when she became blind was always trying to go somewhere.

Baby bosses around my sister's huskies...even though they outweigh her 10-1. It's quite funny, so I understand the bossiness! She will also "tattle" on my mother's dog, who is a miniature collie mix. They live next door and our back yards are connected. If Palladin wanders too close to the creek, Baby will bark like crazy and scratch at both of our doors.

I don't have a yorkie but I do have a chihuahua. I don't think I've ever seen a mix like this. My dog isn't picky about food. She does like to yap, no need for a door bell, she does very well about letting me know someone is here and sometimes before they even reach the door.

I will have to post a picture as soon as Mike figures out what he did with my download cord to my camera. She is cute, and different than most dog's you'll see. She is definately a mind of her own too! Right now, she's mad at me because I made her go potty in the rain.
