Mariah Carey or Christina Aguilera

Do you think that Mariah or Christina is the better singer. I'm leaning more towards Christina. It's a tough call though. What do you think?

I too agree, that it is a hard call on who is better. They both are very talented but I would have to leans tword Christina too.

i don't personally like mariah, but i would rather listen to her songs than christina's. C has a great voice but sometimes she's overdoing it. sorry guys.

In terms of vocal range and overall Star Power I would have to go with Mariah, she has never ever had a single unpopular song on any album that I know of. Now don't get me wrong in terms of pure soul and vocal versatility the obvious choice is Christina Aguilara but she is much younger thab Mariah and thus doesnt have quite the body of work or the experience performing, arranging and touring that Mariah has. I would have to say that it is a photo finish. They are both equally good at what they do as individuals but they appeal to two very different cross sections and age groups of the population.
