Interracial Relationships

If you're involved in an interracial relationship, have you run into any complications because of this (dirty looks, rude comments, family problems, and the like)? I once dated a "white" man and did not run into too many problems. I got the occassional stare. Tell us your stories.

I'm in an interracial relationship. I haven't noticed any dirty looks or stares... (except for those times my love and I kiss in public). However, I am quite aware that his mother doesn't particularly like me because of the color of my skin. That in itself puts a strain on us from time to time. My mother makes some non-PC comments herself now and then, much to my irritation.

Don't worry about them; do what makes you happy. They're the ones with the problem, not you. Hey, they should be getting the stares and the comments because they are not in an interracial relationship. Now toast to that!!!

I am not ready for such relationships yet and I dont know if i would have the courage to deal with people of the different race. I know it be difficult and it would take so much time and effort to make such a relationship work coz there are a lot of factors to consider.
