I absolutely think that a teacher can influence students. However, there has to be some sort of connection that happens in order for this to happen. Naturally some teachers are better at being engaging and reaching their students more than others. For me, I have an almost endless supply of enthusiasm and excitement for what I'm teaching which has been refreshing for my students who are accustomed to apathetic teachers. I'm able to create a rapport with my students by showing them that I'm a learner too and that I'm on their level in many ways.

a teacher can have great influence over students. sometimes it may be so great that it changes students' life. a bad teacher can demotivate students. fo example, a teacher can demotivate students when he punishes them in a wrong way though he doesn't mean that. teachers should be clear about the important role they play in students' life.

a teacher is expected to mold the students and help them become better persons through the knowledge he/she imparts to them. as such, the teacher becomes very influential and to some extent, powerful. however, it's sad that we hear of teachers who actually demotivate their students. they fail to be what they really should be. there are even instances when students are scared of going to school simply because they fear their teachers who have hurt them in one way or another.

Hi gopala, Welcome to myLot, I hope you will enjoy it here and make many friends. It can be a fun place, and you can even make a little money. As to your question, I believe that a teacher has a great influence over the student. The teacher can be the difference between a great success and a dismal failure. Blessings.

Hello Gopala! I am also a new member of mylot. I have an account year ago but I already forgot my password and Id. as to your question, I do believe that teacher really influence students as parent influence their children. Usually parents do tell children that a teacher teaches them the right thing, that teacher are intelligent, that teacher are model. So at young age, most children has a high respect of teacher and so they follow what their teacher does thinking that they are model. Some teacher were able to separate their bad strengths when they are in school. They were trying to show that they are good and that they are not biased, that they are really a model. So it is hard to be a teacher. Some teacher also have difficulty to show off their bad treats and so other especially when what the teacher teaches to her students conflict with what the teacher show.
