One of the most popular open source internet browsers that grew fast in the internet world - Mozilla Firefox. Been using this browser for a while now and yes I have to say it works much better than Internet Explorer - Why? Because I don't have to deal with issues where third party applications get in the way to cause an inconvenient error.

I switched to Firefox around the time it first came out 1.2 or so. I also had Mozilla project before it was abandoned. I've not acclimated to Opera browser. It has plenty of features as well.

I just switched a few days ago and I'm like a kid in a candy store. I love it and I can't believe how much better it is than Internet Explorer! Annie

We use Firefox too. It's a lot better. It's faster and we don't have nearly the amount of problems we were having before.

I originally used firefox, but, when ie7 came out and tabbed browsing I went back to using ie. As to speed, I cannot see a difference if I am honest. I still have firefox on my desktop, but, I don't see any difference in the two. IE7 makes opeing a new tab easier than Firefox.

I have been using it for a while and I love it! It is a lot more reliable than IE and faster and I am able to have lots of tabs open at the same time which makes it easier for me to get things done online. I love Firefox and only use IE for one website and that's because it doesn't work on FireFox. :)

I am using it at home but in office I am using IE. I am fond using it at home since the net security at home is not that strong as compared to in here in Office.

I want download Mozilla Firefox because of so many problems with Internet Explorer and I see many people in this discussion have said that they can switch back and forth from Foxfire to Explorer if they had to. How do you switch from one to the other, can someone please tell me?

I have switched to Mozilla for months now and I can say that it really works better than explorer. at first I was hesitant because I didn't know anything about it. it was being recommended by an officemate then and I took his words for it and tried Mozilla. the thing that really convinced me was he said Mozilla was safer than explorer when downloading stuffs from the internet. it can stop virus from getting into my computer. I don't know if its true but I usually encounter a virus using explorer so I decided to try another option. and so far, my computer hasn't encountered a problem yet. ^__^ and with Mozilla, it feels like everything is much organized and much faster. ^__^

I've been using Firefox for years. It's far superior to IE and I've noticed that I'm not so prone to getting viruses using Firefox.

I'm using firefox. I started using it because of the tabbed browsing, as I didn't want to have so many IE windows cluttered on my taskbar. Although now IE7 has tabbed browsing, but I'm still sticking to firefox :)

I like Firefox a lot. It helps when I am working with HTML (basic anyway). It helps fix tags and such. I used both Firefox and IE, however, over the last few weeks IE has just been awful. It was constantly crashing and just causing havoc on my system. So I just stopped using it and now use Firefox exclusively. I also like the convenient spell check that Firefox has. No more mistyping for me.

I switched to mozilla some two years back , because it had many cool features like , tabbed browsing , add-ons,plug-ins,themes.. which was not supported by IE ver6 at that time (some two years back). and now IE 7 is some what good. But not to the level of mozilla... Mozilla is really fantastic ...

I'm using firefox. I didn't orginally like it, I prefered I.E but that tends to get cluttered and attracts spyware which then gets in the way of your surfing fun. Firefox doesn't seem to attract those as much and it's also good for adding features via plugins and skins of course. They're all about making your surfing fun, even I.E 7 hasn't improved that much compared to firefox. ~Joey

I had switched to Mozilla since 1 year, as explorer dosent have the features that mozilla has, it's a very good browser than any other, after installing it, i dont like to browse in the explorer, it works faster, it restores the session, and i feel comfortable with this browser, i dont get any errors usually,
