Good day everyone!!!c",) I do keep all the letters, cards, notes i received since elementary. I still have them all, wether they're from my boyfriends before, friends, family and relatives. I love reading em over and over at times. They bring back old memories, might be sad or happy memories... How about you friends? do share if you do, thanks in advance...

When I was younger I used to keep all letters and cards sent to me. Now I am into clutter clearing I have thrown away most of these. I have only bothered keeping special cards that I was given that are from the happiest times in my life. I have learned that it is best for me to throw away letters and cards that are sad. I can see that is is lovely that you have kept old letters and cards because you read them quite often and this gives you pleasure.

Yup! sometimes i got to look at them again and again and remember each one whom the letter came from. There are photos and crazy notes, sentimental thoughts and words and it does bring joy to me. I'm sorry for those lost letters but at the same time glad for you have been over it now my friend... thank you both for sharing your thoughts on this. God bless!!

I used to keep them all but have thrown them away several years ago. I still have a few but not many and they're from my grandparents who've since long gone to Heaven. I'll treasure those for the rest of my time here on earth. I've kept cards and most letters since I married 16 years ago and now I keep a selected few and put them in my scrap book to keep and remind me of the wonderful times we once had.

Yes I do keep them I probably have very letter or card sent or given to me from the past 13 years or so. I like to read them and remind my self of the ocasion or the person that gave it to me. Expecialy if that peron is no longer alive. When I was a child we used to keep this books called memory books where we glued cards and interesting things in a book and friends would write poems, little love songs or messages to us.

Yes i do have that too, i got to keep my memory book until now i still have it. It was from highschool, wherein my friends would write notes for me or glued anything and wrote short notes and poems, that was before the school year ended. Still gives me pleasure because i missed those good old days with my highschool friends.

I used to keep all those things called "letters" and "cards" I'd get in that little box out in front of my house, they just dont' come so often anymore! I sure miss that! But for my life, I kept that kind of stuff but with 25 moves in the past 30 years I have had to part with many things I wish I hadn't had to but situation mandated it. Anyway, I do have a purse full of notes from my boyfriends from my last year of high school and some of the things my kids made in school (lost most of that to weather damage) Now I am collecting from my grand babys. I think it is so good to save stuff like that and every year or so take a time-out and reminisce. Give you a feeling of good times, back then... My aunt goes through her stuff a time or two a year nad will send me letters I sent to her or to my grandma (her mom that lived with her) and there I am writting long letters to everyone and no one ever wrote back, but I kept writing! I enjoy readig what i wrote and thinking - I thought of that? or I was pretty good at that! or Oh, I remember that! Just makes for some good feelings these days!

So sweet my friend...you're lucky you now have grand babys and they now write to you . It's always nice to receive letters, i too love to read and i would want to keep each that would come... oh sorry to hear that you have to move many times, we use to be like that when we were still renting. I'm glad my parents got to finally build our own house. I hate moving from one place to another, makes me miss those friends i had back then. But like you, situations brought us to different places but i was always gald to meet new friends.Luckily i still have most of the letters and cards, i know i lost some of it but happy to have most. I'm keeping them for life c",) keep smiling my friend c",)

I do, I still have MOST of them and lost SOME of 'em as well.. I keep it because I would like to preserve those memories from my child, good or bad they are part of my life. I even have some of those which were uniquely made, some from barks of trees and others made of trash and were made as an art form!;) I admire the creativity people does, so I tend to keep and treasure them all..

I always keep old letters. Growing up, my best friend and I would mail each other letters back and forth, and we both kept them. it's awesome getting together and looking through our old letters and seeing how much we've changed. I think it's so important to keep old things like that, we get to see we came from and they are things we could share with people later in our lives.

I do save quite a few of them. In fact I still have letters from an old boyfriend that was killed in a caraccident 22 years ago. There are times I sit down and read them and wonder what my life would have been like if he was still here. I'll never get rid of those, they are like gold to me.

I also have a habit of keeping old cards and letters, mycharm88. Even though my children are in their 30s now I still have cards they gave me when they were little. I also have cards from old boyfriends, and letters my oldest daughter sent me when she was away in Army boot camp. I also have letters from a friend from Africa who wrote me while she was home on a visit many years ago. It is nice to take them out and reminisce sometimes.

I have kept letters from friends when I was in college. I still have them I guess. I kept them in a "maleta" in South Cotabato. I am quite sentimental with some cards and letters because they remind me of how I was loved/cared for by people who matter to me. :D

Yes, I keep the majority of cards that I get. I am such a packrat! I have been putting them in my scrapbooks lately. They take up less room and are in one place. I still have cards and notes from jr. high and high school - I recently found a box of them I stuck away in the garage. Although I am trying to get better at not keeping ones from acquaintances and just keep the ones from good friends - that is unless it's a really good card.

Hello dear mycharming. I have still a lot of old letters and post cards in my drawer. Sometimes they remind me of those wonderful days and time that I have ever had with my friends. I keep them out of this reason mostly though I have disposed of some of them, which are less meaningful. The ones kept in my drawers have been many years old and I do not have any desire to let them leave me because of the happy moments they can bring me back to those good, old days. Thanks for responding to my discussion and having me as your friend, my dear latest friend, my charming girl.

I don't keep letters very often, I do keep cards. The cards I try to make into something. For awhile I was donating the picture parts of cards to a worthy cause, but I haven't in a while. Take care

Hi :) I do still keep old cards and letters given to me by my frenz or ex gfs.. i keep it as a memory but i seldom take it out to read.. hehe :) Another reason why i keep those is also because writting of letters and sending of snail mails is slowly fading away.. ANd very seldom will have ple writing letters and send out again when now sending of teaxt meaages and phones are so common now.. hehe
