Are you happy with your Christmas Presents?

Well friends, Christmas time has passed, and Santa, the Three Wise Men, etc (depending on the area you live at) will be resting until next year. My question is if you're happy with the presents you have received? what have you got? have those presents fulfilled your expectations? why or why not? In my case, I'm very happy with my presents...and i'm not disappointed as i never build any expectations concerning the presents people give me. What about you?

The got 3 gifts...a lotion, fashion necklace and a love note. I am not one of those who really receive much gift during Christmas. Sometimes though, I can't help wishing that someone would give me something really memorable and well thought of. My family and relatives are so used to me the one giving gifts to them during Christmas but seldom would someone think of giving something to me back. My list usually comes close to hundred that I cannot help sometimes wishing that someone included me in their list. Not that I expect to be given something back, but it would still have been nice that someone would think of giving me a gift. The most touching gift perhaps that I got was from my daughter. It was a one of her love notes. Even if its not much to look at, it was full of her love that I can't help like crying everytime she gives me one.

We tend to make Christmas (well the presents at least) more about the children than the grown ups! I had some beautiful christmas presents this year sweety and they were all things I love, books, hair care stuff etc that I use, perfume - all of which I love and people know I like, clothes and my best friend knows I love rose scented things and got me so many rose scented things I will be smelling of roses for the rest of the year! lol I was over the moon that my family and friends put so much thought into things they knew I would like - that means more than anything else! xxx

We also learn to give gifts. Happiness is still in the air when we realize that Christmas is all about the gift that was and is still available to all who would believe.

I'm realy happy. Christmas brings hope and good cheer. The birth of Jesus is good news because the solution to our sin problem has come.

I'm very happy with the presents I got as a lot of people actually got presents to suit me. It showed that they thought about me and what i'd like, which is what I try to do for people i buy presents for. I got some really cool presents like Guitar Hero 3 off my Mum (I'm 24 and yes I still open presents up under the tree every year with my younger siblings). I also got an Elvis diary which is cool, a Pug Puppy calendar cos I love Pugs! Um.. My fiance bought me an orange juicer, some cds, a steering wheel cover, a new razor and a dog breed book which I really wanted becasue I've just started working at a vet's. um... yeah i got some great presents but as the old saying goes 'it's better to give than to receive' and I agree!

I suppose I am. I knew things were a bit hard this year so I wasn't expecting anything. But my daughter actually surprised me with a present that reflected the fact that she knows what I like and remembers it. I had a nice Christmas and even if it wasn't the biggest in terms of presents I did have one or two surprises - and you know I like surprises :):):)

I got a $100 gift card for shoes at a shoe store I wanted to get my shoes from. I had told my sister that this is what I wanted - even $10 would've been nice, $100 was unexpected and greatly appreciated! Shoes are on order now!

They say "It's better to give than to receive." Give without expecting in return. I always believe on that saying. Besides I could never asked for more coz I have a family who love me so much. But I do received a gift from my tutee... two lovely small teddy bear, they have magnet on their mouth that they could kiss, has a half heart on each of their shirt and something on their hands that can hold hands of each other... I love it!

I've received some money from my parents and my granma and for that I'm certainly happy. The present I've received from my friends are mostly useless things, but I'm used to that :D

well ,we should be happy.Irrespective of what they are.Whether they are cheap, abad, old or idiotic. The real thing is enjoying the spirit of Christmas. One more thing for which we should be happy.God has made us lucky enough to be happy and enjoy Christmas and recieve presents. There are a lot of people in the food who do not have a chritmas, let alone a christmas present.actually they are ready to trade their christmas presents for one single meal. Pray for them one minute.
