Being sick

I pesonally prefer staying warm in bed... and I don't have a TV in my bedroom. Then when I start getting better I prefer the couch because at least I can watch TV or do something else

there would lack...wanting a little attention. But when you are very sick... hard sick...only the bed .

I prefer my bed. Have tv there and can put water by bedside, book and/or magazines so everything is close and the bathroom too. Too much noise in the family room where the sofa is!!

I think maybe it's the desire to share your good fortune with the entire family. Or maybe, you have some internal fear that should be so weak that you can't make it to the bathroom, at least if you are in the living room, someone might hear your pleas for help. For me, we don't have a tv in our bedroom, and after awhile I feel clostrophobic if I stay in there all day.

i live on the couch when i am sick. i still want to be a part of the family and im nosy. i like to see who is coming into my house. and i can talk to everbody

I usually like being in my bed. So i can stretch out, with all of my blankets. But this weekend i spent all of my time in the garage on a little love seat with a horrible horrible cold. I didnt have the energy to get up and my kitties were keeping me company.

I always sleep on the sofa when im sick. So i can be entertained by the tv and i will be able to respond more quickly to situations too.

I actually prefer my bed to the couch when I am sick. I would rather not move from my bed when I am feeling icky and have no energy.

It is more relaxing to lie down in the couch and if you're in the couch, you seem to be just resting without intention to sleep. Ventilation is better in the living room, wider space, and you seem not to be sick if you are in the living room.

Actually, I'm sick now and still I'm infront of the computer typing this response. Anyways, I used to stay in our bed or use computer or watch tv while laying on the sofa. But most of the time when I'm sick, I prefer to sleep to take some rest.

I prefer it because lying on the sofa means I can see the TV, and my sofa is cooler than my bed, which can get too stuffy and confining when I feel ill.

I enjoy the non sick smell of my room that is why I move to the couch. Whenever you are sick there is that sick smell about me, and I want to escape that so I move on tho the couch.

this is great i never even thought about this! maybe its because with family around you can kind of employ slaves after you cough and pretend you have minutes to live if you dont get that chocolate biscuit you cant quite manage to summon up enough energy to walk over and get haha.
