the toaster/oven! and why we love it

im just curious what your favorite thing to make in a toaster oven is.. people sometimes get pretty creative on the little things you can fit in there.. one thing i always loved making in there was a slice of bread with cheese and cut up bacon on top.. like a cheap mans pizza i guess.. but soooo good.. anyways i want some new ideas of stuff to make in my toaster oven so let me know what you love to make in yours!

love toaster ovens. didn't like those pop up ones because one gave me real issus. also, you can do so much more with a toaster oven. especially if you're living alone since its great to make small meals for yourself. Also, I have kids so quick little snacks like the pizza bread you mentions, cheese toast and other things. When my oven broke down for a month and I was trying to get my manager to fix it I used the oven for any baking I needed. Also those late nights where you just want a handful of fresh baked cookies you don't have to turn on the oven and cook a giant pan full, just pop some in from the frozen stash I keep and I'm happy for the night =)

oh I forgot, when i was younger we used to clean off (and disinfect) those trays the meat came in. We would draw things on with markers, use a hole punch to make a whole on the top. My mom would then put in the toaster oven and bake it for a while. It would shrivel up and become hard and we would then put it on necklaces. Don't do that anymore, mostly because I don't know how good it is for the oven. We went through several toaster ovens when I was growing up. I think each of my sisters and I once set fire to it...hehe.

I haven't used a toaster oven in a long time but I used to love it. It's so much better than heating up a big oven for something little. I would make mini pizzas too with either sliced bread or english muffins. I also used to make cinnamon toast and s'mores in it and store-bought frozen snacks/appetizers.

i used to make mini pizzas on english muffins too!! usually used hot dogs for the pepperoni though haha

grilled cheese are delicious and so quick and easy! i love eating them too
