Elliptical Machine - Elliptical Machine
If you are not able to get outside cause I like being outdoors and I'm sure you do as well. If you have access to an elliptical machine. Start off slow and build yourself up. This does take time so if you feel like you are on a rollarcoaster its ok. Another one if you are able to get outside. Start off by walking a nice brisk walk for 5 mins a nice warm up. Next run for a 1 min. Walk for 1.5 mintues and so on and on. Build up everytime and before long you will be running like a pro for at least 1 km. Spend about 30 - 45 mintues on this.

try some on the spot excercises to start with, it gets you out of puff and gets your heart rate going.....star jumps, knee to elbow etc... over a period of time it will increase your lung capacity.

••• yeah it happened to me... i usually runs twice a week but when I started college I don't have the time to run anymore, And when times that I run I easily get tired ••• to get going again, if your tired just stop for a rest then go again , just don't forget to run once a week

Definitely take it slower at first. One thing to do is run/jog in place a bit for about 10-15 minutes and maybe twice a day. Also build up more aerobic activity in your daily routine. Take the stairs more, at your home take the stairs more often, at other places you visit or have access to try using the stairs there. That does build up your endurance and you do start getting use to the work. Other than that, you have to build your own running pace at a level your body can handle. Don't run too fast, don't run too hard. Keep expanding your limits each time too in any of these cases. If its the steps, try climbing one more floor the next time. If its jogging in place try a few more minutes. If its practice runs outside, try one more lap around the block or a few more minutes of running. Keep at it.

when I was going through the Detention Officers Acadamy I had to run 3 mailes every other day. I hate running long distance but I did get better. I found that if Ievery time I wanted to stop I would tell myself just a lttle futher then you can stop. I just kept saying that. also instead of tring to just out right run jog. Don't push too much. If you take it one step at a time you will get better and faster than you thout it would. I took 4 minutes off my time in just 4 weeks.

well...it looks like we need to be running buddies...lol...you have to run as long as you can, then walk some. Then run as far as you can, then walk some...lol...you have to condition your lungs to run...it SUCKS!

Get on an elliptical and start slow maybe 5-10 minutes. Do this at least every other day and in two weeks you will be running a mile and in four you will knock out 2-3. Keep a good eye on your heart rate and the first few weeks don't take it past 150
