Yesterday I've finally joined Yuwie, if someone wanna check it out there's the link in my profile clicking on my website. I was planing to join for a while but have never actually done it, until yesterday. I have spent some time looking around and I like the page because I can write my blog and upload my photos and make albums, meet people and that kind of thing and they say that I will get paid to do it. So now what I actually wanna know is how much have you people made in a month and what have you done to earn that money. Is writing a blog, uploading pictures, adding friends enough to make money? Thanks

I will add you as a friend, just in case for any reason the link doesn't work you can look me up there. My display name is LilyoftheThorns.
The key to making money at Yuwie is getting ACTIVE refferals. That hasn't worked for me, I only have 2 refferals and niether or very active at all.
But if refferals don't work for you just make sure you get a lot of friends there. And it really helps to invite friends that you have stuff in common with so you can talk to them more.
The more active you are on the site, the more you make. You get points (more points = more money) by doing a number of things; messaging, updating your profile, visiting other profiles and rating them, commenting on them, commenting on blogs, joining/creating clubs, getting people to view and do stuff on your profile.
And I've been told a lot, never reject a friend invite. Because the person inviting you may look at your profile a lot and leave you comments/message you/rate your profile, which will help you get more money!
Hope I've helped! :)

I think it's a new website. Currently I'm happy with hubpages making about 50 to 60$ per month without having to even create post any more. I doubt I can do it somewhere else but I always want to try so why not I may join Yuwie one day just to see.

oo oo! =P Can you join under my refferal link? Hehe. I'm not going to lie, it's a bit challenging to make money with Yuwie. You need a lot of active refferals, and you have to be active everyday.
I try to be active, but I don't have any refferals to help me, so I don't make much at all on Yuwie. I haven't even made CLOSE to one dollar yet, and I am on my 4th month! X.X
But if you have a lot of friends you can get to join and be active, you'll have a lot more luck then I do! :) Let me know if you decide to join! =P

What ?!!! I make more than that per day so it's really not worth :D
But OK if I join I will do it under you since you're my friend now.
I advise you to join hubpages rather you will have better chance to make money if you are focused on writing articles (see my profile).

Hi Lorelai
It depends on how much you are on there really and how many Referrals you have
Really the Person you signed up under should help you with it it is hard to earn on there but it is a lot of fun and the more views you get the better and the more views you make the better

The only way for Yuwie to work is you to refer as many people as possible. I have only few referrals. I am busy lately, but it looks like my group start growing ofter 1/2/08...
I am at about $1 per month level...
You have to be active to make more....I am login to Yuwie site once every other day for 5-10 minutes...
Maybe I can make $10 per month after referring whole country...lol

I think it is a hard task to make much money there and sometimes you should be active day by day.The most important thing is make your page more beautiful and attract more people to see your page, the more the better.

Yuwie pays very little for the time you spend there. That doesn't mean its all bad. I mean , if you're going to spend time networking and chatting with people, why not get paid. But it pays low. You can make more money with referrals, but thats a lot of work. Expect to make 1 or 2 dollars a month there if you're very active.

I've been on there for a two months myself. But I still haven't figured out how to work it. I'll get the hang of it eventually but none of my real life friends are interested in joining so I have to rely on the internet to find people. :) Feel free to add me if you'd like, I'm always looking for new friends. Just check the link in my profile. :) xo

Hi Lorelai. If you are what I like to call a "money-munger" (someone strictly out to make that dollar!), forget about yuwie. It does pay, but it's more for people who like to socialize AND can think long term when it comes to money.
I created a blog entry on this very subject you can read here: http://viralurl.com/trinale/yuwie
Don't worry. I don't get any credit for non-member viewing my post. It was just easier for me to show the link instead of writing it over and over since I can't copy & paste on myLot.
Cheers,
Ed

Well so far what you've said is good enough to earn you money. It would also help if you have active referrals. =) When you get to level 10 it shouldn't be a problem for you to earn from that site.
I hope everyone with yuwie here will add me up there. My display name there is the same i'm using here. =)

I haven't made crap off of there. So I quit joining. I think I made less than 40 cents in 6 months. I prefer CashCrate which on average I make about $50 a month from. But maybe you'll have better luck than I did with Yuwie. I know there are several posters here who make a lot of money off of referrals over there, but I haven't had much luck at all.
