Bill Gates' mail

I have a question. I got this mail FWD kind of thing and there it said that microsoft was promoting something and that they'd send me 245 dollars for everyone I send that mail to because they can keep track of mails. It sounds too good to be true so I don't believe it. I am sure a lot of people got the same mail so I wonder if you actually got the money too? I mean, if I send this mail to 20 people and those 20 people send it to 5 people each and those 100 people send it to 5 people each I'd be getting 250 for 500 people and that 125 000$ just for me. I know that Bill Gates is rich but I doubt he gives that much money away for nothing.

I think I received the same e-mail twice or thrice. Its certainly non-sense and I wonder why people keep on forwarding such mails. You should just discard and break the chain. This is similar to those mails which threatens you to send copies to 20 people. Thanks.

This all scam. Never believe anyone about giving money without any work say by lottery or free. Cheaters are sending these mails and once upon a time will know your bank account or credit card etc. details so will take money from you. You can think that to earn $ 10 from here you need to work a lot so why other people or organization will give money without a job or work ??

you are a victim of a chain letter! why should a smart one like bill gates would give away money to someone he doesnt even know, everybody knows how greedy he is,and there is no way will he make such a move to give money and cannot get more in return.that kind of letter has in circulation for over a year now and its funny that it still lives til this day.if i were you i wouold stop it right at the moment you are just wasting time in sending it to everybody where you cant even get anything in return.

It is too good to be true. There is no way to track how man times an email is forwarded. There are varying versions of this this. One is that the American Cancer Society will send a little girl with bone marrow a dime every time an email with her story is forwarded. I've gotten that story so many times, that little girl should be a billionare by now. There are also the emails about Gates sending out free laptops for every email sent out by X date. They are all fake. Check out www.snopes.com for some good email and computer myths. A lot of the email scams are in there.
