Has anybody made any money on the internet? I have been trying to start some businesses and have found that it is very difficult. I am a disabled vet trying to supplement my income,but have not been able to get things going. I do have a few things in the fire, but it just brings in $5.00 here and $5.00 there. Nothing to write home about. I also have a lot of free advertising sites that I can use everyday, but things just trickle in. I was hoping to maybe get some input from you guys that have better things going than I do. Thank you and will talk to you later.

Hello, Pawpaw;
I can appreciate what you're going through as far as trying to find legitimate ways to make money online. I also am in the search of a more legitimate and profitable way to make money online. The only legitimate source that I found is transcription, mainly medical transcription. I don't know how knowledgeable you are in the medical field, but there are several sites that can explain medical transcription and online schools that you can take to develop or improve this skill.

Hi and thanks for the info. I've seen some sites offering that kind of work(med. tran.) but most are more money than I want to put out to get started. I was a medic in the service years ago('72-'76) so i know a little about medicine. But it should not cost an arm and a leg to get started. If you know of any that are low to no cost start-ups, let me know. I am trying all kinds of things right now,and maybe you would like to look into some of them. I do not know how well they work since I just joined them, but they are low and no cost. Let me know about if you are interested. Ireally am not trying to sell anything( honest), it's just, you have to get people to look at things,to see for themselves, if it is something they would be interested in. Thanks for your input and let me know about your sites in med field and I will take a look.

Hello, Pawpaw and Ivandcruz;
The extent of my training in medical transcription is on-the-job training. Basically, it was efficiently using my resources correctly (med. dictionary, AAMT guide, and other various medical books, cards, pamphlets... etc.)to complete my job. I started out in the specialty of Neurology. I have had transcription experience in Legal and nursing before I actually obtained a medical transcription job. It is not difficult to get started. Pawpaw, I see that you stated that you were some sort of medic? If that is so, you should have received some training. If you wanted to really get started in med. transcription, I would start with the specialty you worked with as a medic. Perhaps you can freelance for some physicians that you may know. But a good website to check out for training and possible jobs is MTDaily. I had a transcription job that I did for approximately 5 months. The company had sense folded. If you pursue this, be careful in choosing a company. Make sure they are as professional as possible.

Hi and thanks for your input. I am not sure how you make money from MyLot, but am going to find out. I do have a few sites that I really like and i know it takes time, But I was hoping for a little bit faster income. I have sites that are free to start up, so I know it will be a bit longer before I see some results. If you get a chance, tell me how you make money on MyLot and what is the level referrence # by your name mean?

I would sugest that you find one good thing and focus your efforts there.
Choose something based on your interests.
It's OK to have small results at first. That means you are doing something right. Figure out what's working and do more of that.

Many of the free money making opps on the net are just like you described. $5 here and there trickling in. The idea is to get enough of those opportunities going so that you may create more of a steady flow of checks. Most places pay more if you have active referrals. With enough active referrals you could be earning a check each month from every site your on.
I find most of my online income comes from my online shop and from a couple writing sites that I participate in.
If you'd like more info on these sites (they are free to join and begin earning) send me a friend request and I'll send you a message.
Welcome to MyLot!

Hi and thanks for your input! I have done a lot of surveys and I have recieved payment from a lot of them. I have almost every free survey site in my favorites file. Yesterday I spent an hour or so puting them in alphabetic order( ha,ha)I think I have 250 survey sites in my favorites file!I am even listed with some of the top colleges in the country, to take surveys.
I guess I did not have enough to do! But any way, It was going good for a while, but then I kept getting rejected for the surveys for some reason. I still get about 10 offers a day, But now I am finding that I do not have any time. I am trying differant businesses and that is taking most of my time.
