Depending on where you live, do you have a specific lingo or words that are commonly used where you live that are probably not used in other states/cities/countries etc? I live in california, the central valley to be exact, and everyone in other cities/states always know that we are from california because we say stuff like dude, bro, broski, hella, chill, and numerous other words like faded...what about you?

Around here you'll hear dude and chica a lot, but that's about all I can think of. Maybe I should start taking public transportation and listen to everyone who gets on and off the bus.

We call it "leetspeak". ;) And in other circles there is a different gibberish I've come to know as "pwnspeak". Leet is just using numbers and symbols to make code out of regular words. The trademark example being 1337 or |337 Pwn is "gamer talk". Some examples of it are the "word" pwn which is just a mispelled version of own.

I've noticed different places I've been that when I ask for a hoagie or a soda people often don't know what I mean. In case you don't know, a hoagie is a sub and a soda is a soft drink such as Coke or Pepsi. Some places it's called "soda pop" but not just plain "soda". I also think our piggies or pigs in the blanket aren't the same as they are in some other places. I know there are others and of course they'll come to me after I post this...lol! Annie
