It was our love-marriage and its been 2 years of our bissful marriage. My 2nd wedding anniversary is on the 22nd of January. I'm bored of gifting him shirts and perfumes before. This time I wanna surprise him and make him really happy by gifting him something different. Can anyone suggest me what to gift my hubby on our 2nd wedding anniversary??

For the second anniversary, the traditional gift is cotton. The modern gift is china. From your discussion, I believe the traditional gift is out. The modern gift might not fit either.
Maybe take him out on a date, a relaxing but romantic getaway. That'd be nice.
You could steal a page from the traditional gift of a year one marriage (paper). Play with the idea a bit and you can end up giving him little romantic notes, passes to a spa, or tickets to somewhere for just the two of you. For a keepable item, you could steal the page for a modern year one gift (clocks). Maybe get him a decent but noble looking clock, or a wristwatch, maybe a pocketwatch (engraved perhaps).
From your other responses and my ideas here are other gift ideas.
- Belt/customized belt
- Maybe a simple ring
- Masculine necklace
- Custom necklace with a flat chesspiece design
- Customized standard deck of cards
- New chess set or chess/checkers (maybe 3D table chess, probably harder to find)
- A plant or minature rose/flower garden for the two of you?
- A movie he likes or something the both of you can enjoy (up to you)
- A ribbon/award with the text but also a romantic or nice message to it
- Soft/classic mix CD
- Nature mix CD or collection
- A "classic" gamers set (mini dartboard, cards, some chips, dice)
Other thoughts.
- If you have it down, try to get something related to one of his hobbies.
- Look for clues (either for now or next year) maybe he's got an eye on something
- Happy Anniversary. Here's to plenty more.

Thanks so much for your response. You really have tried hard to suggest me what to gift my hubby. As far as I can see you have kept his interest in mind while suggesting things. Will definitely keep your ideas in mind while shopping!

Get him something that he will love. Whenever I buy things for my boyfriend, I buy him what he will love.

I would think about the things he likes such as, tools or games. It's hard to give a suggestion without knowing any of his intrests.
For my hubby i would get him his Upgrade on his WOW game because that is his favorite past time.

Hmmm I see. He has a great interest in traveling, reading books, listening to soft classic numbers, playing chess and cards, watching hollywood movies and loves romantic things. I hope now you can give some ideas. Thanks for your response graedragon.

With that icould thnk of some things.
If you know of a book signing coming up with one of the authors he likes then maybe you could take him to that.
For the travel maybe you could book a short trip for the 2 of you to one of his favorite spots or somewhere he's never been.
Or take him to a cheese touramnet.
I hope this helps some.
Congradualtions on your 2nd Anniversary.
