How long have you been earning online?

I have been doing it for about 6 months now. It's amazing how long it takes to find the "good" sites and to really start making your mark and earning.
I've tried many different types of sites and feel confident reviewing and recommending the good ones. But saying that, I still feel like there is more to learn and some other good sites out there. It's just a time factor now. I work full time and don't have the opportunity to try as many sites as I would like.

I have been doing that for many years now and my first earning was through the Amazon.com affiliate program. Now, I am more actively involved with myLot, which happens to be contributing to the most of my online earning so far. I am just like you that I do not really have the time to spend on the internet so I just do whatever I can whenever I can and the earnings are good enough for me to buy a thing or two from the internet.

That's great that affiliates are working well for you. I have become an amazon affiliate, but am having better luck using squidoo to sell items. Seems silly, but it's true!

That isn't good. :( Have you reached payout on any sites and they just haven't paid you? You may want to look around a little bit and find some better sites that can guarantee money within 3 months. I'm sorry to hear about your luck.

I have been a part-time internet marketer for a little over 10 years now. I started out selling magazine subscriptions waaay before online payments were accepted. People actually had to mail me checks and I had to wait until they cleared before processing orders!
Besides learning how to be a salesman, there's really not much to learn about marketing online as you would think.
Some things that I have learned that have not changed over the years are:
#1 You need to have your OWN web presence. Free websites and blogs often raise the "scam" flag, especially when you claim to be making money.
#2 Online marketing requires alot of hype otherwise, people just won't look.
#3 It will always be a numbers game no matter what you do.
#4 In most cases, "free" DOES work, it just takes alot longer than "paid".

I always value your responses because of the number of years you have been using online money making sites. As for the free blogging service. Well, it's waht I started on and know so I'm hesitant to try something different. I am aware I would be able to earn more blogging, etc, but I'm not there yet. Perhaps in another 6 months I may be.
I try to be honest and that's my approach. I am also working on an online presence, but for various reasons, sometimes this fails.

officially I have been earning online for about 5 months not including making money on ebay and amazon if you count those it would be officially 5 years and 5 months. But I am hoping to do really great at this because it keeps me from boredom.

5 years on ebay? wow, was it lucrative? What do/did you sell?
I agree about the boredom, earning online has become one of my favourite hobbies!

I sold used books,cds and movies and it was a good job I guess. I just didnt like the fees at ebay. You have to pay 20 cents for a book you cant sell for more than 50 cents you know

Im in the same boat as you. I would say Ive been earnling online about 3 months. I've only found 2 good sites that I use almost everyday. Have signed up for a few I didnt like. I also work full time so this is just to make extra money on the side because I definetly need every penny I can get.

I year ya sista! My family uses every cent I make online. It surely does not get wasted or go to a "fun fund".
After 3 months you have likely gotten a good taste of what's out there. You also never know when another "gem" will fall your way.

I have been searching up 1 months for a site that would do earnings of money or else gift packs until i end up with mylot in which i could say the best so far but time and effort consuming. For now, im a new user in mylot.

Well, there are many places to earn online and you are pretty new. I'm sure you'll find some good sites in the near future.... I'm happy to hear that you found myLot though and are enjoying it.
