That's a tough choice to pick a favorite. I like a lot of dishes from around the world. I would say my top three choices would be (in no particular order) Chinese, Indian, and Filipino. I also like Thai but a lot of it is spicy and I don't really like spicy food. I like Korean, it's very similar to Chinese. My least favorite is probably Japanese I do like it, especially miso soup, but when I really crave something it's usually the other kinds I mentioned.

I've never tried Thai and Filipino cuisine, are they good? What kind of plates do they serve?

I think they're good. My favorite Filipino dishes are pancit (noodles with meat and veggies) adobo chicken, halo halo (kind of ice cream with toppings), lumpia (like egg rolls) cassava cake. I don't know what it's called but it's little squid or cuttlefish in sauce. It's been a while since I had Thai food but I like one type of soup with shrimp and it was hot and sour. Maybe it was Vietnamese I like that too. My favorite Vietnamese food is pho.

I love to cook and I love to eat. I love to try new dishes and I'm adventurous enough to be ready to try most things. SO I really enjoy a bit from traditional dishes from around the world. I love mexican food, portuguese - of course - and almost any other out there.
I do favour japanese more than chinese food.It feels and tastes lighter.
But in general I like everything :)

hi rowena!
well like you, i like chinese and japanese, and i am enjoying chinese food always because i married a chinese guy. as with japanese, we go to the local resto from time to time.:-) i love italian too, so rich, but so delicious!!! :-) lol i love white sauces! so rich and creamy.
now what else? in the philippines, we are divided into regions, and each region has a unique flavor. and there would be instances that i would prefer their versions of local dishes. so that's about it.
God bless you rowena and take care always! :-)

I love Thai food, I think it is the most delicious food, I guess the coconut milk gives it that extra zing, I can actually eat some vegetables I normally can't eat because the sauces the Thai dishes have covers up the taste of the vegetables I don't really like.

It would have to be Italian first. Then in very close second Southeast Asian foods (Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Korean). After that would be German, Spanish, French. A few times I've had North African and its at least decent. I'll have to work on that not just in dining but also in cooking (as I do for all the others).

I have tried chinese, japanese, and mexican. My brother is obsessed with chinese but i am not a fan of it but i love japanese especially the way the restaurants are set up. Mexican i love but it depends on the food. i like the quesadillas and enchiladas as well as the chips.

I'm in love with chinese cuisine. I couldn't get tired of eating various kinds of rices and chicken. The japanese cuisine is too expensive in my opinion, if you eat a big plate of sushi you spend a lot of money and you are hungrier than in the start
