Dear Sada,
Prayer for me means my peace of mind and soul. It gives me the confidence and composure to deal with critical moments and overcome them eventually. It definitely makes one stronger, as you have said.
Thanks.

Normally when we pray,
we are fresh and at clean place(environment),
we are calm and quite, our breething rate reduces to lower than normal and so also we are concentrating at positive thoughts, hopeful things.
This all leads to mental peace and we become energised to and tensionless. Then we can face any problem confidently.

FOr me prayer is maybe a moment of reflection, a time where I can analyze my actions and view them from different perspectives. AN affirmation of my own values and of my commitment to them.
SOmetimes the time when I "talk" with a being that is there for me, understands me and helps me understand things that are not completely clear to me.

prayer means time to release my tiredness whole of day. i am moslem and i have five times prayer per day and it makes me feel balance to through my daily activities. but the enchanted prayer which i did in the middle of night where everyone already on their own sleep and very silence outside. it feels that i can feel the existance of GOD in my life. prayer also my way to find any answer of any problem that i face in my daily. when i get closer to my Creator, i just feel calm and happiness in my heart also in my mind. i dont know how i would be if there is no prayer in my life :(

Yu have very well understood the meaning of prayers. Your religion attaches good importance to the prayers. But I found that women who are working in offices particularly in multinationational companies find it difficult to carryout the prayers amidst the work. In India, muslims on Friedays either try to pray at office premises or go to mosques. Thanks and regards.

thanks for your comment, dear ssh123. its not why we should have prayer in our daily activities but it caused we need prayer to balance our physical and mind in daily activities. yes, you're right that its little difficult to arrange time to pray in multinational company. but in here, i think it becaused 80 percents of citizen are moslem, those matter not too difficult to do. we can do it in our lunch time. it would depend on the person, dear. myself, sometimes also have difficulties to offering 5 times prayer due to some work, but as long its still have time to do, i tried not missed it or if not i would replace it in another time in the same day (there is rule like this in my religion). anyway, nice topic to discuss about

Hello dear ssh. Yeah, we would feel much more relieved and relaxed with our sincere prayer. I still remember the time when I was trying to find another school to work in, I not only prayed for myself, but also asked my parents to pray for me as my parents are Christians. I am so glad that the prayer worked and now here I am, working in my favorite school as a respectable teacher with a good reputation...

Prayer adds strength when I am weak and rest when I am strong. It provides answers to the most complex questions and points out what I already knew. It brings me closer to Jesus, it provides me with my necessities, it is my place that I can go to find solace.

I fully endosre your view that it is almost a force to recokon with, but why lots and lots of human beings do not understand the value of prayers. Probably the prayers need sanctum santorium in the form of sincerity and honesty I suppose. Thanks for valuable contribution to this topic.

Prayer for me makes me stronger, gives me hope, calms my fears, and brings me closer to God. Which in turn, makes me a better person all around. I turn all my fears, stress', and any other problems over to my God and know that he will take care of them and guide me in the right direction. Very nice post SSH. Thank you for this.

Imagine about the millions of people turning over their problems to got and what a burden he has to bear. Your views are well narrated, it sounds more meaningful to me. Prayers mean different things to different people. In childhood days I used to pray because we are asked to pray. Later with maturity we learnt the real meaning of prayer. As many mylotians expressed in their own way, the prayers really ahve all those elements in one form or the other and in fact it is a life line which many of us have not realised.
Thanks for wonderful response.

Thank you SSH. Reading you post got me thinking about what prayer really is to me. It is a very powerful thing. There should be more people like you in this world to make us stop and think about the positives in our lives and the important roles they play to us. If not for prayer today, our world would be a far worse place to live. Kuddos to you my friend. :) I wish you a wonderfully blessed day.

For me, praying is like you having a conversation or bonding with our God. I prefer to pray like I'm talking to HIM, I think it's better that way.

Prayers can make us close to GOD. To make our pryers more meaningful it is good to change our physical position. For public prayer, we naturally bow our heads. For more personal prayers, some have found good to kneel when praying. I like to do kneeling and bowing my head and with humbly talking to GOD

I think that this is the way we can ask for or request to our good something for our life or for the people we love.We request a little help from him in our way.

As far as possible, we should not keep asking god to shower us with benefits. Sometimes if the prayers are not heard, one tends to get angry on god. I therefore never ask god to show me favours, or help me. God is always in us, with us and in fact following us to ensure that we do the right things at right place in right time. He has provided all organs which are functioning well and we should work hard and get what we need. Thanks god for all the directions, enthusiasm, good health he has given us.

Biblically it gives relationship to God. It also includes the faith of his servant to follow His commandments. Actually when you feel troubled, lonely, and getting struggle in life one of the way to eased that is praying to Him..

For me prayer is a way to concentrate on the energy of the boby and convert it for some useful work.I do not believe prayer to medium to connect to god or to get good whatever that is.I believe in god.God for me is the energy in universe ,in my body and in your body.

Through prayers I can share my feelings and I do believe in God. For me, prayer brings peace of mind, faith, confidence, support and many more.
