I just got myself a Wii not to long ago and I'm looking to get a few good games for it. I have Wii Sports and The Legend of Zelda. What others should I get and why do you like them so much? Should I bother with Wii points and buying clasic games?

Well, it you don't already have some of these classics (i.e: Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Donkey Kong Country, Paper Mario, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Mario Bros, many others) you should definitely take advantage of it, especially if you don't already own the systems the games originally were released for. I already have those games and I'm finding quite a few games I missed out. The Bonk series, Splatterhouse, New Adventure Island and Shining Force. All good games. Now if you're of age and want a Wii game that'll make the time go really fast and is a lot of fun, I'd suggest The Godfather: Blackhand Edition. A very open ended game. Huge world to explore.

I personally think guitar hero 3 is very much fun. Even if you are not a musician. You just have to play the notes on the screen on a guitar. So its more realistic then with a controller ^^ My brother bought some games with wii points and he liked them but it's also a bit sentiment because we played that games on the original console when we were younger.

The real question here is "What sort of games do you enjoy?", there is no point in me recommending Splinter Cell: Double Agent if you hate sneaky/FPS type games (a cool game if you can get past its horrid camera system that really really wants you to look at walls and his bum, and a control system that for the first few weeks will make you want to smash the disk up). My current favourite is Wii Sports. Super Paper Mario is OK (if you can get past the talky-talky bits).
