dont you just hate it when people stop in front of you outside a shop?

you are walking along the mall and trying to get where you are going and suddenly you have to side step trying to miss everybody coming your way because the person walking infront of you decides to stop, usually theres two of them and they are talking.
i hate it when it is raining, now they are armed with an umbrella.........great.
not only have i got to do a balancing trick ive got to dodge the umbrella too.
do you have any funny or annoying instances of this balancing act trick.
or are you one of these people that do it just to annoy the rest of us?
please tell me your stories as i find them very interesting and funny, well......i find all human behaviour funny!

Funny, I remember when we went to Japan and me and the other tourists are in the escalator going down. Few Japanese old people suddenly stopped right in front of the escalator and didn't continue to walk in their direction. They just stopped at the last step and we were all pushing each other, even hurting other people. I hated that, I didn't want to be there, just annoys me that's all...

Thats one of the reasons i don't go to my main city to shop anymore because its full of people like that more than smaller shopping high streets.
Its even worse when they have umbrellas, because they don't care who they hit with them.
I tend to go shopping when it starts to quieten down, because its even the same in supermarketss.
Like you said there is usually more than one and they are paying more attention to talking than looking where they are going or stopping in most cases.
Its easier to move when its just me, but when i have my son in a buggy with me, its very hard to stear his buggy out the way in a rush when i don't want to do the same thing to someone else.

i will be very annoyed as well if it happens to me... i will usually say excuse me continuously to make the persons blocking my way realise that they are on my way...

lol yeah..this always happen, almost everywhere. you're walking and suddenly the ppl in front of you decides to stop in the middle of the pathway or wherever. really hate it when that happens. or whenever someone walks so slow and hogs the way, taking their own sweet time while other people are in a hurry trying to get to their destination. sigh.
