What happens to the GOP contest next?

With Mitt Romney winning pretty convincingly in Michigan, it would seem as if the GOP race is more muddled and confusing than ever before. We have McCain, Romney, and Huckabee, each with at least one win (Romney also won unimportant Wyoming), and other candidates still vowing to fight on.
What are the predictions? What does this mean for South Carolina? Who drops out next and when in the world will this race ever be decided? I have never seen a GOP primary this wild and so close before (granted I'm only 20 years old).
Make your predictions!

The fact is Romney now has twice the delegates as 2nd place Huckabee. It is still a "muddled" race, but there is a clear leader as of now.
Of course, it's only the beginning and the last thing we want right now is a clear winner. That takes all the fun out of it. ;~D

McCain fell foul of negative campaigning in S. Carolina against Bush (and the abominable Rove) in the 2000 presidential campaign. I predict he'll be targeted with similar tactics if he continues to look like he might win the GOP nomination. The right wingers will start gearing up the personal destruction politics to get the type of conservative they want.
Definitely is a close and interesting race so far. I expect Huckabee will do well in the south, who can know for sure?

Of all the Republican contenders I would have to say that my top choices would be Ron Paul - though this is very unlikely...I doubt that he would be able to gain the nomination as he is so very far behind the others - and Rommney. McCain would also be a good possibility. The trouble is there are good and bad points to all the candidates and I think this will continue to be a very close race.
