If anyone has been paying any attentionto the Republican Primaries by using the major news channels would think that McCain had this election wrapped up. Just to prove it two days ago I start a discussion called Republicans and...

Why do I want to know whether these folks are functional idiots? Well, because "Stupid is a stupid does"!
Below is a...

merrydew The article suggests the fund may be financed by private money, from investors in clean technology. It's not clear how much public money will be used. This doesn't sound such a bad idea.
That said, politicians obviously will not always do the right thing...

Does it rejuvinate his campaign, or does it merely add a win to the Republican candidate who went into the Michigan Primary with the most total delegates.
He now has twice the delgates (42) as 2nd place Mike Huckabee (21), but...

Mitt Romney finally wins someplace besides Wyoming. I guess when you concentrate on something...plus he grew up there. I guess we shall see in South Carolina.

merrydew I don't know if rejuvenate is the right word. It has to be a big boost, however. It's maybe even a crucial victory. As you say, he was leading in total delegates. But he needed a win, particularly as these early states were the ones in which he was considered...

merrydew I don't like the idea of a fence. Seems almost like the Berlin Wall. But it would also be horrendously expensive and I wonder how effective it would be. People can tunnel, be smuggled in vehicles, come on visas and stay illegally. I don't know, it all seems...
