Would you rather be on a beach swimming or go skiing?

I'll take the beach swimming please. I like snow but I dont ski. You could go to the beach here right now but the water is kind of frozen over.

Well I have never skied a day in my life, and with my bad back, I do not think I will ever try it either. But it is very hot here where I live, and I swim in my backyard pool almost everyday. Swimming is my favorite pasttime in the summer. Sofor me it would deffinatly be swimming on the beach. I love the beach, if i could live near the beach, I would be a beach bum, I would be there from sunrise to sunset. I have always dreamed of owning a beach house. The beach is my favorite place in the whole world, it is so serene, and relaxing there. I forget all my worries and cares there.

i live in a beach town. and i enjoy ir very much from tanning to running on it. but i also love skiing. however, i have to travel quite aways to ski. I love downhill and cross country skiing. ski trips are especially fun when you have friends with you.

I would have to say that i would rather be on a beach, as long as it was warm, and maybe on the west coast instead of the east coast, cause the water is COLD on the east coast all year round, at least in canada! I miss the ocean but i will see it again this summer i hope! I dont really like the snow, although its fun for a short time, I hate to be cold!

Since I don't ski, and absolutely love swimming, I would opt for a beach; HOWEVER, you mentioned bringing some of your snow to any of us myLotters who don't have any or enough. Well, I am in Ohio near Cleveland and right now the snow is rapidly melting, by tomorrow it will probably be gone. The coldness will stay but we need precipitation and it doesn't look like we are going to get any so snow is out of the question.
What a crazy winter it has been so far . . . and where are you BTW ?
sharing the light and happy new year,

I would love be on a tropical island enjoying the sight of the white sand, waving palm trees and warm ocean for enjoying swimming and snorkeling. I would see the colorful coral and hopefully meet lots of friendly fish. I would like to walk around the island, get a coconut to eat and take some photos of the lovely scenery. I love sunny days and warm or hot weather. I don't like the cold winter.

I like to go to the beach. Because it is relaxing and it's warm enough. I like snow, but on the other hand I am afraid of the coldness. My husband and my son also likes swimming, so it goes without saying that going to the beach is our number one choice.

I don't really like either one. I hate the cold and I can't stand the beach. I love to fish. LOL We have lots of islands we go to when we are kayaking. Most of the ones we go to are closed off right now because they are close to the space center and the shuttle is on the pad right now.

I live in Europe, in Germany, so we don't have such great beaches like in the USA or something. But I really want summer back, I love swimming, and I'm not a fan of skiing.

Summer. I'm an avid waterskier. I do a lot of snow skiing, but its just to pass time by until I can put the boat in again.

If i was somewhere hot i'd want to be on the beach, but i wouldn't want to be swimming in the sea....... because i don't like swimming in the sea, but i do like swimming in indoor swimming pools.
I wouldn't want to be skiing, but i would do water skiing if i knew there was no animals in the water and it wasn't extremely deep either.
