mylot profiles

I have lots of friends, and I get the notifications of their discussions through my e-mail. Once in awhile I check out a profile or two, to see how their locations match up with what they are saying. It is interesting to see them when I have time.

I do view some of my friend's profiles, that is those who do not post that often or are pushed farther down by the frequent profilers and to see if there is any I can put on notify me, (there are a couple of interests that are very popular to me) and also to see who are not here for a long time. I have so many friends I would be unable to post or respond if I view them all.

I think that if I had to look at the profile of all my friends... it would take me the whole day before I can even answer one question. Ever heard of email notification? That is what they made for. To know what your friends have been doing on myLot. It is quick and easy. You are certainely not going to make any money on myLot if you are wasting your time reading everyone else profile.

I have not to much time to be here in mylot even I want to.

I think it is good to view profiles if you don't have a lot of friends yet, and when i first started on mylot i did view profiles in the beginning, however i have been on mylot for a long time and have a lot of friends...It takes me a very long time just to answer all of my discussions and replys that i do not have the time anymore..After you are here for awhile and your friends continue to grow it takes up a lot of time just doing the basic's...I think that the friends that i had in the beginning, i seem to know more about because i had more time to get to view their profiles and really got to know them better..Its just like everyday life here on mylot , the more you talk to certain people the more you learn about them.I say if you have time its a great thing to do...

I think it is a very important issue you have brought up. I read through the responses too and must commend the frankness I perceive in them. It sure will be good to view your friends' profiles often but, as many indicated, it can take up so much time that you could have used for other purposes. I like the idea of the e-mail notification and will surely try to make the best use of it. To greater friendship. dudumodu

I don't spend a whole lot of time looking at profiles. I try to respond to discussions my friends start and then go to others and reply to those. If a nickname or picture is unique then I sometimes will check them out more just to see what it says.

it depends on my mood.. usually 1 hour daily..

The truth is that I visit others profiles mostly when I wanna approve or deny friend requests. I occasionally visit profiles of some people who have interesting discussions etc. (I just visited yours!!) I avoid profiles of people who spam etc

Honestly, I don't look at them very often. Mostly when I look at them is when I want to approve or deny someone. Sometimes I'll look at my friend's profiles but not often. I have so many friends that I can't look at all of their profiles or it would take me forever in one day and then I wouldn't have time to answer any discussions.

I dont very often at all look at other profiles, only when they request to be friends I will spend a lot of time looking over their profile...

I go to other peoples profiles when they add me as a friend to check out what type of discussions they are creating and responding to. And If i notice that someone is following my discussions or has a lot of the same interests as me then i will put email notification on them, so that when they start a discussion i get an email about it ;) then i go through the emails once i get a few piled up in my inbox. So i rarely go back to their profile after i have added them. Unless i wanna know how long its been since they've logged in ! :)

Every now and then i might change the background color or add some music but its not often. My mylot profile is not my homepage where I spend a lot of time updating.

I don't really look too much at their profiles anymore. I have my e-mail notification on for my friends so when they make a new discussion I know about it. I find it saves me from going onto over 200 profile each time I Mylot. But I will occasionally pop on one now and then to send a comment or to say hi.

I go to my friends profiles when I want to leave a comment or if I have not seen them around for a little while. I do not have time to visit every profile every day. If I did, by the time I was finished, it would be time for me to get off my computer and do something else.
