OK I just started using vista Can someone please tell me what the H-E double hockey sticks. Is a MINIDUMP? My whole computer shuts down and the screen is blue with some (lots) of white lines. It comes right back on. But it is really making me mad. I am about ready to buy windows 95 and put it on here LOL

Vista rants - Vista rants are something close to my heart...
Windows P*ssed off is something I can sympathize with. It sounds to me like you have a bug in your system, (something that is far from short supply with Vista, but I am quick to rant about this operating system). * Did you purchase your computer with Vista already installed? If you did not, and you installed Vista on a system that is not up to the demand Vista puts on it, blue screens will be your new best friends. It is also possible you may have an overloaded system even if it came with Vista. Vista has such a heavy footprint, even top of the line machines are groaning. * Vista comes with DRM. It also comes with Genuine Advantage (WGA) and Office Genuine Advantage (OGA). Both are designed to fight pirates, and mostly frustrate the beans out of legit customers. All are buggy, loaded with false positives, and often cause legitimately purchased media to run poorly or not at all. If your issue involves media or software, you could be dealing with a poltergeist of one or all of the above. * Microsoft's newest anti-piracy measure, and basic pain in the software... * http://www.pcworld.com/businesscenter/article/127678/if_you_dislike_microsofts_windows_antipiracy_checks_look_out.html * Windows XP is a better Windows operating system. It is also burdened with anti-piracy bug-ware. * On my machine I have a double operating system to get Vista optimum performance with no bug-ware, Windows XP and Linux Dapper Drake are all that I need to give my somewhat older computer the ability to cook with gas. * The help forums for my Linux operating system: * http://ubuntuforums.org/

That's why your Vista's having tantrums. It hates anything that isn't Microsoft and that definitely includes open-source Firefox! * http://www.maybethisisthebiggestlogooffirefoxintheworld.cn/MaybeThisIsTheBiggestLogoOfFirefoxInthisWorld.png
