Well, I wil recommend to you the anime/OVA Elfen Lied.. it is a mix of drama, comedy.. good music.. but have ction too.. Is a perfect history, with all that have of good in the others animes...

try ouran high school host club, its funny i love it, i even watch it over and over, if you want romantic then check peach girl. there are more which i cant remember as of now, ill try to check my anime list to see ehehe but for the mean time hope this one helps ^.~

how abouth azumanga daio its a school comedy and its very good especialy liked osaka and tomo.

I recommend Romeo x Juliet. . .but its licensed so you might want to look through streaming video sites that aren't crunchyrolll since they remove licensed anime lol. Luckily I have the episodes on my iPod. . .but da-anime (.org) has them available for download. I never streamed RxJ since I knew they were going to be taken down before I could watch the entire series so I just downloaded them. (;

Well look into Ichigo Mashimaro aka Strawberry Marshmallow if you liked Lucky Star. It's got the similar slice of life style where it just follows people around for a day or so each episode... just minus all the anime and video game jokes. Still funny in it's own right. You could try Genshiken and Genshiken 2 which is about a club for anime fans doing the things that anime fans do. Manabi Straight is also pretty good, school life kind of show. Not a whole heck of a lot happens but it's got more of an actual storyline. Anything Aria is pretty good as well. (Aria The Animation, The Natural and now Origination) It's set on a planet that's a lot like Venice and it's centered around... those people who row boats up and down the 'streets'. Haibane Remei is also very very good storyline wise. Since it uses nothing but pure drama and storyline to keep itself going, it is a bit of a 'fantasy' type though as the main characters all have wings and halos. And don't forget Hidamari Sketch, Yuno is the queen of moe... I suppose you could try Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and it's second season as well.
