Just wanted to take a minute to say hi. Sorry I have been away for a while but got really behind with the holidays and Tracy leaving. Still trying to get caught up. We are all doing ok. The holidays were great if not a little sad. I just keep telling myself that next year we will be looking forward to him coming home soon.
Hope all of you are doing great and I promise I will get caught up and be back soon.

Hi there BlueStarMom1. I hope that he will be back home to you before you know it. I was away for about 6 months last year and just recently came back to Mylot also. It is one of those things where I needed a break but I am back now.

Glad to hear you are all doing well. One way my daughter got through her hubby being deployed was to face each day as if he were coming home tomorrow.

Must be telepathy! Today I went to your profile to see how long it was since you were last on here and I was a little worried.
Glad to see all is ok! I too have not settled into a proper routine after the holidays either and work is erratic too.
We'll still be here when you are settled and can get back but in the meantime take care! Hugs!

Like you, we got to visit with our son during the holidays. Bill came home from Iraq. He arrived at Ft. Hood, Tx. on Christmas Eve. Knowing he was in a place where people don't shoot at him was of great comfort for me. He arrived here at home on January 5th and left out on the 18th. Now he is in Arizona to visit with my parents and family members. He is then going to Utah for a few days to snowboard with a friend. After that he is going to Tucson, Arizona to visit with other friends. When he is done there, he will return to Ft. Hood and serve 6 more months. Then he is supposed to discharge. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the unit does not redeploy again. I am glad you got to visit with Tracy. I hope you gave him a hug for me.

Yes, I've missed you. Glad that you are doing okay! I've been busy myself with work and all. I have to into work in a few hours. Don't mind though, because it is a lot warmer there than it is in my home currently. LOL Take care and hope to see more of you soon.
