Futurama got canceled?? WHY?!

Did anybody really find out the real reason fox canceled the show "Futurama"? It makes me wonder because shows like family guy are rude humor while this show was actually interesting. I still think the simpsons is the best of them all but still this show had no real reason to be canceled do anybody really know what it was?

Futurama was cancelled back in 2003. Fox just decided to stop buying the shows. And that part will always be a mystery I guess. It was a pretty good show. And when Futurama first came out its debut ratings were really higher than expectations.

Technically it did not get cancelled, FOX just did not order any new episodes - every episode is made at groening's studio and fox just ordered episodes. I believe it did not get good ratings because of football, and thats probably why they stopped ordering them.
