Yep, that happened to me! I felt like I was totally outdated and disconnected from the rest of the world. But surprising, it wasn't as bad as I had imagined, I thought I would be irritated but I did not. Actually I thought it was good for me to have a break! But now I get back and I have to say that I seriously have to spend some time in catching up my internet stuff!
So, how would you feel if you can't use internet for 3 months?

It will suck a lot for me because ever since I got my laptop, I haven't missed a day without going online. It'd be a pretty big change and like you, I'd probably feel a whole lot outdated. But if I had a lot of things to occupy my time, it wouldn't be all that much of a waste. Like if for example, my friends were to plan a trip somewhere. I wouldn't mind being away from the computer for a while for that. I'd miss it a lot. But I think it won't be that bad.

What you said was very true! I am feeling very outdated now and I am not even sure how to catch up *laughs*. I have been sitting in front of the computer most of today trying to grab my internet life back, but I do feel lost at times!

That will be bad for me. Now I can't upload my photos to an online photo album for a few days, I already feel so frustrated to it. So it's hard to imagine I can't use internet for three months. I think I will be so outdated as I don't know something new via the net.

Oh I hope the online photo thing turns out fine for you! The thing that bugged me the most while I was away was not being able to update my own website. I felt so bad letting it wasted away for a few months.

No internet for three months? I can't take that. I'll get paranoid. I don't know what will i do if that happens. I think I'll go crazy. I will be totally outdated and would be clueless of what is going on inside the world wide web. And
all the applications that are installed in my PC would also be outdated as they have to always be up updated with current versions. I hope it wouldn't happen to me. LOL!

I think I would go NUTS! lol The internet is my WORLD. I work from home and I get my news online and everything. I really prefer it to 'watching' the news on TV. Everything I think about, I run and look it up online. If I am thinking about an item I need or want to buy, I run to Ebay and see how much it is there before going to a store to buy it.
In some areas, you can have your groceries delivered, you buy them online JUST like you're actually shopping. I wish they had it here in my area. I would do all my shopping online. I'm not a hermit, but I LOVE being at home!

I recently started a blog with WAH job listings that I share with people for free. I have a couple of lifetime memberships to job directory sites and post a variety of jobs for those looking. I spent years and I like to save people time and frustration and also save people from scams. Anyway, I would love comments or suggestions...I usually post once or twice a week. Here's my link....http://freedomforinfinity.blogspot.com
Good luck!

I love being at home too! Now I am starting to search for a job and I start to realize how great it would be if I don't need to go to work but can work at home on something of my interest. That would be really fantastic!

I hope that does not happen to me because I would really feel left out. Not being online for a day makes me wonder if I have gotten an email or not. I have a blog, and it will be bad if I won't be able to update it within 3 months. But I guess, it's nice to take a break from the online world once in a while and spend time with the people around you.

I guess I could live without the internet for a few days or even a few weeks. I remember the 1980's when the internet did not exist. We lived very comfortably without it. However, I would probably lose a lot of clients if I did not check my email for a few days or weeks.
I went on a 2-week vacation last year and didn't miss the internet. However, I came back to a lot of angry clients!

Oh, that wouldn't be an interesting scene to come back to! The most annoying thing for not having internet is that I can't do my work online, other than that, I am fine.

Well, I've lived without it before so I think I could probably do it. I would probably be bored as all get out but I could get through it. I have friends that don't have internet and they are fine. If I didn't have it though and I wanted to get online then I could go to my mom's house or to the library to do what I needed to do.

At first I'd be very irate and likely in withdrawals, but after a week or two, I'd probably be reconnecting with friend, exercising more, cleaning this messy house more and scads of other things that have been neglected! I seriously can't remember what I did with my free time before the internet!

We didn't have internet for the first six months after our move here. I used the computers at the library for job hunting and emailing. That worked, but boy did I feel unconnected. Couldn't do my banking, check my account balances anywhere when I needed to, make purchases, check showtimes, etc. etc. My kids needed the computer for schoolwork necessitating even more trips to the library.
So glad to be back online.

I have had to go without internet before and I hated it. I couldn't do any of my money making sites. My friends and family live in other states and I keep in contact with them through the internet as well as by phone.
I not only have internet through my computer but I also have full internet on my cell phone as well now.

*laughs* Oh that would be extremely bad if your income is relied on the internet and you have to live without it!

it is impossible because as long as i cant use the net it is very difficult for me to pass the day.
