ok, so the other night my hubby and I are sleeping with the dog on his little bed at the ffot of the bed like always. Then the dog starts nosing my foot and jumping on the bed and then off the bed, back on, back off.
Ok he's still a pup and I'm thinking time to go potty. Unusual for him at the stage, but ok. Out he goes, in he dcomes, out, in. Back to bed. In the bed, out of the bed, In, out.
He is making us nuts, finally, I have to give up and put him in the utility room with the outside dog (it's 20 degrees outside).
Finally restful sleep.
The next morning I foun out what was wrong with him. One of my kids had left a whole bag of chocolate kisses where the dog could get them. All I found was a pile of candy wrappers. Luckily he seems to have had no long lasting effects from the chocolate save for a bit of diarhea. I have always heard that choclate was bad for dogs, but here's a not to dog owners. APPARENTLY, it makes them even more hyper than it does kids.
BE wary!

I'm glad your dog was ok! I've always heard chocolate can be fatal to dogs. I think you were lucky!!

No question we were lucky. And the kids have now had a serious discussion about leaving things the dog will eat lying about, not to mention they are now out a bag of candy.
