Do you work out at the same time every day?

I find it very hard to work out at the same time every day. I try to, since I think making it part of a routine will help me to sustain it. But there are things to consider such as, when my son is napping, or appointments that we have to keep.
Does it make a difference what time of day you work out, or is it more important just to do it, no matter what time it is?

It is nice to have a routine but as you say things crop up that keep you from establising a routine that you can stick to. I try to make it to the fitness room across the street from me in the mornings. But if I don't make it in the morning due to a appointment or some business I have to take care of than I strive for evening. The reason I like mornings is because my energy is better in the morning. In the evenings I am tired. But I don't think it is of importance as to whether you have a routine or not. As long as you get some work out time.
