At this early, are you planning already on how you will celebrate Valentines' day with your beloved? Are you planning a surprise? Or a romantic date? Or an expensive gift? How do you normally celebrate the Heart's Day? My husband and I will be celebrating a post-Valentine date instead since he will be away during the said day because of work. This early, I'm already scouting for a perfect gift for him. We make it a point to make every Feb. 14 a memorable day for the two of us.

Well, my husband is in Iraq, so i have no plans this year on celebrating Valentine's Day. I will sit at home with my three children and we will have a nice dinner and then they will go to bed, as will I probably shortly after that. I'm so glad that you have your husband here and that you two are going to have what seems to be the perfect day. I hope you find that perfect gift and God bless

I'm sorry to hear that your husband won't be with you during that day. How about planning a valentines day celebration with your kids instead? Treat them to a dinner or a movie? Goodluck!

Thanks for the response. We may go out to dinner, but i couldn't go to a movie cause my daughter is not even two yet and won't sit through one. i'll just have to see. my boys are asking to go to a valentine's party at their friends house, but then that almost leaves me completely alone, so we may just go out to eat instead. God bless

romantic sunset on valentines day - i think its so romantic if you lovers out there are celebrating valentines day together while watching the sun sets. it will be so unforgettable for both of you.
im not planning to be expensive this valentines day.. all i want is to be with my special someone on that day.. my only plan is to have a romantic picnic style along the beach side.. when it is sunset. i already planned what i will bring for our romantic picnic dinner for the two of us. for me its not the worth of the gift or the worth of the place you go.. its how you celebrate and how you and your special someone to be happy on that day. you dont have to spend more on that day.. simple but yet romantic things are the ways she can be happy and never forget that day.. thats how i plan our valentines day.

I spend Valentin's Day with my co-workers. My husband is not very attentive on Valentine's Day, he's more preoccupied by his purse than about having fun or celebrating.

This'll be my first valentines day where I'll actually be able to spend it with my boyfriend. He's got something special planned for me, and won't tell me. I imagine it'll just be dinner and our usual night together but I'm not looking for anything special since it hasn't been long. I'm just hoping to spend the day with him. :)

I have no idea what we will do. We will be in Mississippi on that day and I am sure he will have to work. It is also our 3rd wedding anniversary. I didn't want to get married on Valentine's Day and I still wish we didn't. We'll never get to celebrate without highly inflated prices and crowds. Unless we never celebrate on the actual day of our anniversary. It wasn't as if the wedding day was at all romantic either, it was both of our 2nd wedding so we just went to the Justice of the Peace and signed the paper. We have yet to celebrate an anniversary because of different reasons. Usually his job. Maybe this year, because we will actually have family around that can watch the baby. We'll see.

Hi milkfish, I don't require a special day like Valentine's day to show my love because every day I show my love to my wife and visa verse. In my opinion the Valentine's day is for those who are saperated and wanted to come together and for those expressing their love for the first time. Good Luck.

Nothing. Both my husband and I are not the romantic type. All the good restaurants will be too croweded anyway. We'll probably just have a quiet dinner at home and may be do something special on the weekends.

We will go out for dinner at that day as usual. We planned to reserve a table for us at Fei Teng Yu Xiang. Both of us are very like their boiled fish. It is quite delicious and there are many people going to the restaurant to eat the fish everyday. Valentine Day is a hard time to book successfully but we wish we would reserve one table. As the gifts, I have no special idea till now, maybe I will buy a tie for my boyfriend and get a bunch of rose from him.

I shall cook a fabulous premade, boxed and perfected Goodfellas double pepperoni pizza for two, devour it between one (myself), moan to my singleton friends via messenger that the shops are yet again packed to the roof with foil wrapped, cheap chocolate hearts, half wilted roses and tacky cards, reach for a chocolate mousse, eat two, eat an apple to dispense some of the guilt and then fall asleep watching Titanic, which will no doubt be on BBC1 as the "Valentines' Special". Where would we be without February 14th?!

Well, my husband rarely does any planning and if he does do something it will be a tremendous surprise, it is usually just me trying to make the day more special, I try to make a delicious dinner and have a quiet night maybe cuddling on the couch together watching a romantic movie that he is wanting to change. He has never been that big on the Valentine Day thing. I can think of once only that he bought me roses and candy and took me out and that has been over 10 years ago and nothing since. It is good that you try to make it memorable you and your hubby. I just wish I could jump start my husbands romantic side once in a while to..

We both love cuddling together and watching something that we can both enjoy. We have been in a long distance relationship, but he is moving up here just a few days before V-Day!!! I am so excited. We could stay home and it would be OK with me!!

"What's your plan for Valentine's Day?" Nothing. Not much of anything. I might do something more charitable with family, but in terms of Valentines and what it really means, the answer is nothing.

You and your husband are so sweet. I have never past a Balentines day with my lover, because i don't have boyfriend once.I think Valentines Day is important for every sweetie.but many of my friends who have boy-friend/girl-friend for a long time, think that Valentines Day is not special for them.they past the day as usuall.they think that buy gift or plan a surprise are a waste of money and time.I really can't agree with them.Although they have been together for a long time, maybe have no freash feeling, but it is necessary for them to give their lover's suprise to show their still love. I think it don't mater how expensive the gift is.the most important thing is that how many you love in the gift. Walentines Say is the westen festival. In my country-China,there are another day which have the same meaning of Valentines Day.There are a tale of the day.So we all have two "Valentines Day"
