How you choose your avatar?

I create my own avatar. I know how to use photoshop so i just edit my pics and create an avatar. Actually I have a GIF (animated) version of my avatar I just don't know if myLot can display it.

The avatar I'm using right now was just a random picture I found that seemed to fit with the name I'm using. She seemed to be appropriate for a goddess from mythology. I very rarely ever use my own picture. If I do I don't keep it for long. Most times it's something that fits my personality or current mood in some way.

I love the movies and series of Star Trek. I am also an artist. I created a Vulcan avatar, I don't know if you can tell...

I didn't choose my current avatar, my husband did. LOL He had taken some pictures of me some months back and asked me to use the one you see. Pretty simple, eh? LOL

I like to choose one of my son's photos as my avatar. As he is very important for me. I like to see him as more as possible. And I found this photo is very cute when such a little boy uses a computer.

My avatars are usually pictures of my cats. I like seeing them, my cats make me smile and laugh. Sometimes I do use my own picture as my avatar but that's very rare and only in sites where I know who'll be looking. :) Your avatar looks nice though. It's very relaxing.

Well, on most social community sites like this I just stick up my picture. However. On other smaller less.. social? areas.. I use whatever my #1 intrest is at that time that fits the type of site i'm on :) Sort of like. Let's say, I joined a gaming site. I would try to use a gaming avatar that related to some game I liked. Or, if it was lets say.. a site about a movie? I would probably set my avatar to one of my favorite movies, and etc. I think you get my point, :)
