Post five topics a day!

There are some days when I cannot think of 5 posts to start. Well, I could, but I mean 5 posts that I think people will actually want to respond to. I see people posting junk all the time that no one ever responds to. I would rather not post than post things just for the sake of posting. It does not help you if you are posting things that no one replies to.

The idea of just making five posts is good but it depends on how long your post is. But a long post is not necessary a good one. It also depends on the quality of the post. There are people that make their posts long through spamming, which is a horrible thing. You are not only risking being banned by mylot, you are also losing money. Some discussion starters will delete spams, thus reducing the earnings of the spammer. I know because my response was deleted by another mylot user because it was offensive to him. I can't blame him for that. I got frustrated after reading his discussion so I let out my feelings there and my post was deleted. So beware. Some mylot users might report discussions as being inappropriate or violating mylot's terms. This will get the whole post deleted and every poster lose earnings from that.

I had 2 discussions yeturday and made 40 cents woohoo, thats the most I have made in a long time. I never can think of anything. Usually I am busy too, yesturday was a lazy day and I was on mylot longer then normal.

*laughs* You must have more time than I do. I find I'm getting behind at reading and commenting if I start even two posts in a day! I can't imagine keeping up with five... every single day at that! I'll have to try it someday and see if I do manage to keep up!

That sounds like a good idea, but I have some topics that have zero responses, I would not mind someone answering them and others that I have responses to, but they did not exactly answer my question. I have managed to do three a day so far. I want to do enough so that I can make $1.00 a day or more, but I cannot think of that many ideas.

Do you find that you get more for starting the discussion, than just joinin in someone else discussion. Also, should you also rely to comments left by othr users on your own discussion. Any tips are always helpful.

it takes quite a bit of imagination to post 5 new topics a day, I found that posting three always worked for me.

I lost my earnings by not posting for more than six months so for now I will try to make 5 posts a day and by that i will be disciplined to have time to write at mylot. thanks for the tip!

Hmmm, I don't always post a topic, but I do a whole lot of answering too, giving boosts to others. I do drawings too. They are uploaded as 'photos' and as they are originals they catch attention to what I write....

I don't see how any one person could come up with 5 interesting topics a day for more than a week or two before they started posting goofy stuff. I respond to about a dozen a day when I come here and that nets better than 5 cents.

is posting new topics better than just responding to poeples discussions i respond to alot of discussions i went thru about 20 today and i don't really see much of a change in the numbers

Yes I've done that experiment as well. And I know people will say they can't think of 5 good topics, but if that's the case just respond to 2 topics for every discussion you couldn't think of. However the key is to find something that you have a huge interest in that you could talk forever about (figuratively speaking). Another thing to do when stumped for discussion ideas is upload pictures, at least 3. I think some people forget about the picture posting. There are so many ways to boost your earnings, you just have to dig in or ask a friend or fellow mylotter. If you take a glance at some of my discussions you will see and be surprised who responds to what topics. Ok, that's all I have to say because my fingers are cramping due to typing all of this on my blackberry.

I have noticed that you have 8341 posts now. It is a brilliant achievement. I think you do have your own tricks and thanks for sharing with us:)

Ok I tried it and even though some of my 5 post were not repsonded to I still made .13 cents. The other day I replied to 10+ post and only made .08 cents. Marcia has a great idea here and it really does work. I would also recommend that you look in the "discussions with no responses" section. See what kind of discussion are there. Alot of times they are from newbies that just need a little encouragement to get going. Let us who have been around a while go encourage them.

i agree with you dear marciasoft. it seem we would have better earning in we posting not too many topic discussion. so far i did not figure out how many topic discusssion should be posting everyday but for me, i also having little bit disturbance if i get notification so many topic discussion which made by one friend. i tend to response to the friends who only giving posting of topic discussion in not many thread. although the topic discussion has different topic and content to discussion still i would prefer to give some reponse (not all of the topic discussion) to the person and find another person who posting their topic discussion. sorry to tell this (there is no intention to offense anyone in here), but in my opinion if you posting so many topic discussion it seem that you're not too serious to make it. its seem that you only go after many responses came to your topic discussion. either my self, when i look back to my early time in here, i just feel little stupid to read my own topic discussion caused in that time i made so many topic discussion which i think at now, it was not worth enough to discuss further

That sounds like an idea. i am going to try and do that lets see what happnes.

I am glad to know this .I use to not do much posting at all, but lately i have been trying to post more discussions..I have been trying to do a couple per day.If you post 5 per day and you do real well i think i will try it..i know that when i do post i make better money....thanks for the information..

Marcie, I'm not sure what you mean. Why post just 5 discussions? Is this about being consistant? No matter what you do if you stay consistant it helps...Let us know what your outcome is. xoxoxoxo

I used to have a goal to do 5 start discussions and 20 replies because that is how many I think a person needs to do to reach payout each month. I was able to do that for the first month or so but now I am running out of subjects to start a discussion with. So today I walked around my house and found topics to write about. I did 12 start discussions today, to make up for some days I didn't do any. We will see how this may have increased my earnings.
