is your spouse your best friend?

My husband is not my best friend. Nor do I think he should be. No one person can be everything. Each person in our life has their role to play. While some of the characteristics of each role overlap, no one can do it all. My best friend was out of town for a month, and I started turning into one of those needy, whining, nagging women I hate - because my husband was filling in for my best friend - he was all I had. That isn't healthy. Even the best relationships have bad days, and when you do you need someone to turn to who will just listen while you vent - the best friend.

Yes, that is I can assure of. But I still have a female best friend. Both of them are the best for me. What I say to my husband, I can also say it to my female best friend without any hesitations.

Yup, my hubby is also my best friend. He can tell if I am sad, angry, happy and knows just how to approach me when I have my moods! Pretty much he is my Best Friend along with my mom, my sister, and my close girl friend. I tell him anything and everything :) We have fun watching the same shows, playing the same games, and he even goes to the mall with me! I think that basically says it all right there.

perfect bliss? you watch too many movies! i would say my husband is truly my best friend., in the beginning not so much, he was more a lover than a friend, but through the years (27), this man is my whole entire being... meaning that my best friend always, my lover when hes not watching football, or nascar, or im not busy working til 10 every nite! having your spouse as your best friend is fullfilling coz you can talked everything, anything under the sun. it can also help your marriage last for a life time. i can say that my husband is my best friend... who can be better from a person youre always with and no matter what will love you and will always be there for you. someone who will take care of you for the rest of your life....

My husband is my very best friend. We don't always agree and sometimes we argue, but for the most part we share every joy and happiness with each other. We talk for hours on end and when we have a problem we come to each other, not someone else. He's not only my husband and best friend, but he's my comforter and supporter. WE support each other in everything. That is what marriage is. My husband is my best friend. We love to do so many things together, but there are things we like to do seprately as well. I still have my girl friends and there are things we share that I don't share with him, because it deals with challenges in their lives and they don't necessarily want me to share that stuff with him. We are also just like regular fbest riends too, we don't always agree or see eye to eye, but we do talk it out.
