What's the material you like for a cup?

I like it is made of glass. It is easy to clean and I can see whether it's clean enough easily. I don't mind it can be broken. It can be avoided if I am careful.

My preference is for glass or ceramic drinking vessels. I can clean them with very hot water. They do not hold the flavor of what is served in them. Yes, we have to be careful, but that is okay.

Yes, it's easy to clean it. That's important for me.

Steel cup - Prefer it
I prefer steel. With kids in the house, you can never be too careful. We have plastic glasses too which are used for kids who come over to play with my son. My glass cups are reserved for when we have guests and special occassions. I personally do not like drinking out of a plastic cup (at my house...don't mind if my friends give me a drink in a plastic cup)....but the kids don't seem to mind and infact seem to be used to the plastic cups. My one year old has a silver cup that he drinks out of.

You are right. Actually my child broke the glass for a few times by a mistake. I gave him plastic cup.

I prefer to have mug which is made of porcelain. I have a well designed mug which is a present from my sister. I like porcelain cup as it could keep my hot coffee or hot tea for a longer time.

Yes glass is always to be preferred over the metal ones because one need not be concerned of the heat when its non-conducting. Also the glass ones come in good designs and the shinning look is always elegant.
