How funny, I was just talking to someone about this today! And you think that time will slow down when they are in school, but it doesn't. It just seems that time goes by even quicker.

I used to think that the schoolday seemed like an eternity, it went by so slowly. I don't know if it's because we are adults and have lived longer that now time seems short. When we are young, we haven't had much experience with time. I keep thinking there must be a scientific explanation for this. Time really does fly by more quickly the older you get!

Dear,
I TOTALLY agree with you.
In my Childhood i also thinks that how time is going slowly and slowly, I always thinking that when i was grow and do the Job and collects all responsibilities.
But now when i growup the time is running faster and faster. I has no only time to think for day to day work. The 24 hours are also less for my of one day.
So time is running very very fast for me.
Thnx,
Rakesh.....

Time does fly by really fast. Your right about kids. It feels like it was just yesterday that they were little babies now they are getting so big and so fast. I just make sure I take alot of pictures and videos so I can go back and remember all those special moments in my life and all the joy they had brought me while growing up.

And before you know it he will be an adult. I remember I used to think like you, too, that time was going slowly when I was younger and my kids were babies. Then it's like I woke up one day and my babies were adults. I can't believe where the time has gone. Now that i am older, 50 years old, the time is even going faster. So we don't know how long we have on this earth so we have to treat each day like there's no tomorrow. Enjoy your time with your son and don't worry about the time going by because there is nothing anyone can do to stop that from happening. Just enjoy.

I don’t feel old actually because I enjoy what I do and feel happy of what I’ve done for the past few years and so I didn’t notice that hey it’s 2008. When I was in high school, I dreamed of becoming 30 years old, professional and has the good life. I see my sister than having it so I took inspirations from here. Now, I’m almost there. Time flies like it’s just yesterday when I dreamed of it.

Hey yl,
Your discussion reminds of when I used to tell my Granny "I wish I was 16 or 17 etc..." you get it.. so I could do {whatever} & she would tell me "your wishing your life away" it took me a while but I finally figured out what she meant. Oh yeah, I remember the day my son was born like yesterday-now he's 18...time does fly

Yes, the sand of time is slipping from our hands and it being mixed with the desert of centuries. This all is happening unconsciously and very quickly. If we look in our past we see that how the time has gone. So we should care to build our future, we should keep continue our movement and try our best to get the goals well in time.

I know what you meant! I think time really flies by too quickly. I often thought of the days when I was in university and I still can't believe it's like 6 years ago. Sometimes I think I am not really living a life, it's only work and work and more work *laughs*.

Times is the easiest thing you can use up.
If you did not take enough care about it, it will leave you quickly.
I think I am not a sucessful one in making full use of my time, I kill time in a boring way, and some time, I find that I do not have enough time to finish a thing.
Other things after losing them, you can try to get them back in some other way, while comes to time, no matter how hard you have tried, you can not get it back again.
So it is a wise choice for us to make good use of it.

i understand what you mean. i feel the same too. life is indeed going in a fast pace, and we are all struggling to keep up with it.
It just seems like yesterday, when i was at college, having a merry and carefree time.. Whenever i look at my son, who is 12 now, i wonder where all those years have gone! i am happy that he is growing up, but i also feel a tinge of sadness at his childhood whizzing past me... In no time, he is going to fly the roost, and i will be left with some sweet memories...

Time flies quickly if so much is going on in your life especially when you are happy. Like for example you are single for so long and has the worst job you'll think that time runs very slow ( believe me i experience this kind of time ) but when you are having a great time with your life, like a good boyfriend and a great job you'll even wish that time should freeze.

I agree with you. When you are older time does seem to fly by. My oldest granddaughter is 13 and it just seems like yesterday that she was born. The older a person gets the faster time seems to fly.

Greetings,
I felt the same, but now with life as it is, I feel that time goes by more quickly than ever moreson because of the times. I also remember my eldest as a baby, and this year she is graduating from high school. Interesting.

I have to agree with you that time seemed to go so slowly when I was a child and now I find that I don't have enough time to get everything done that I want to do in a day. AND now that I've retired, it seems that the days are even busier than they were before when I was working. I have raised 4 children and now have 7 living grandchildren(losing one to SIDS a few years ago)ages 12 years to 5 weeks, with 2 more on the way. It seems my own were just babies!!

It is a mixed emotion. I am sad becuase my kids are fast growing. They are no longer babies that I could always hugs and kisses. They are already starting to live a life of their won. I am excited at the same time. Always looking forward of what';s going to happen next with me and my family.

I couldnt agree more. Even though not as much time has flown by i speak of the it in a smaller sense. My classes seem to crawl by whereas afterwards time with my friends seems so short.
