Do you like Mondays? Or is Monday a dreaded day for you because you have to go back to work--get kids off to school? Do you go through Monday just dragging and wishing for it to hurry up and be over with? Or do you face the new week with a smile? I dread them and it takes me awhile to get going. I'm not a morning person to begin with so Mondays hit me hard. Besides today I broke my coffee cup and had to clean up the mess! How do you view Mondays?

At least it is not raining here! We have had an extra wet January and I'm really tired of the cold and rain!

Nowadays Monday thru Friday usually always drag out for me. Probably because I don't like my job. So yes, come Sunday I do dread going back to work on Monday.

I used to enjoy every day, but I am so tired now that I seldom enjoy any new day. Monday is bad because I work both jobs. I tell you what makes a day better, though, it is to have sunshine. I wake up so much better and have a much more positive attitude if it is sunny and bright outside. I think the cold and the ice is making me dread everything except sleep.

Oh I know the feeling only it's been cold and rain here. We've had some warm days but way too much rain. Mixed with cold it sure makes for depressing days.

I don't dread Monday's but I'm not eager for them to come either. I enjoy my weekends and getting to spend more time with my husband since he works so much during the week. And I'm not a morning person either...so when that alarm clock goes off Monday morning then I'm like oh man, why can't I just sleep in? Ok, maybe I ask myself that question every day the alarm clock goes off. lol

Mondays don't bother me at all...Since I work at home one day is pretty much the same as each other. I do however often look forward to Mondays especially if I have to make important business type-connected calls where businesses only work Mondays to Fridays, or if I need to go to the Post Office first thing on Mondays, or as the case today, to go to my bank to deposit some rather unexpected checks I got..so that put a real smile on my face.... :)

I don't mind Mondays. I am a very routine-oriented person, so Mondays are kind of relaxing to me after a crazy weekend.

I don't really feel like I am an easy-going person. In fact, I feel just the opposite. I feel more comfortable having a schedle and knowing who is going where. Weekends seem very chaotic to me a lot of the time, so Mondays are my day to get life back in order. I know, I'm a weirdo.... what can I say?! :)

Because I am not currently working Monday's are no different from any other day for me, I always wake up now thinking today's a new day for new opportunities and I never know what's going to happen, I try to look forward now, with the horrible events in the past one more day behind me. It's time for looking forward. Today I went for a long walk in the countryside it helps my Winter Blues it also helps me sleep to get lots of fresh air.

I'm not a big fan of Mondays. I associate Monday's with my highschool days and I saw Monday's as evil because I had to wake up terribly early to start my week of classes and my weeks were terrible because I had always gone to school on little sleep and had to sit through a tortous day. So, I generally still hate Monday's, but not as much as I did before.

I also hate working on mondays it makes the week go by so much slower for some reason. I perfer getting mondays off and only working on tuesday wednesday and thursday makes the week go by a lot faster when you start on a tuesday instead of a monday. Even when I end my work week on a wednesday it still goes by slow why I have no idea.

I don't like Mondays. As it's the first day to start to work. It seems that I haven't enough rest yet. I don't look forward to Monday and I hope the time will stay to Sunday:)

When I was working I hated Mondays. I, for many many years, have had trouble sleeping on Sunday nights because of this working thing. I would lay in bed till 2 or 3 in the morning before I would fall asleep. I know it was physcological because now that I am not working I don't have any trouble falling asleep on Sunday nights anymore. It's funny what our bodies will do when we are stressed.

I hate Mondays I only work a couple night a week and Mondays is one of them. I have to get up early to take the kids to school then come clean up the house they have destroyed over the weekend and then go into work that night. Is it Tuesday yet? lol

Actually Mondays are not that bad, if the flow quickly, for if so - they give the stimulus for the rest of the week) Just start the day with the gulp of fresh air and get up!!))

Well getting up is only the beginning. I love the drive in to work most days, it's relaxing unless I'm running late (which is a good deal of the time). Then I have to get all primed up again for work when I get here. Oh well, tis life!

Not only am I mostly retired but I live in a sleepy little village out in the bush. Mondays have no meaning for me...they are just another day, lol. I'm an early riser too and also cheerful so not a good candidate for agreeing with you. Try and think of each new day as a fresh start. Every new day is full of potential for happiness...it's up to you. :)

I wouldn't say I enjoy Monday, but I mean once Sunday over I'm just waiting for the weekend to come again and Mondays are the best way to get there... I think it takes me a while to get going every morning- I am by no means a morning person, so Monday is really no different from any other morning that I have to try to drag myself out of bed.

I'm one of the lucky people who works shifts and not Monday to Friday so I don't dread Mondays at all.Majority of the time I work over the weekend and Monday is the beginning of my days off.Even after my days off I don't get the dreaded feeling of having to go back to work.I guess it's a physcological thing with Mondays!!

kareng you have taken a very good topic.obviously every one feel that monday is a dreaded day bcoz u cannot comeout of that jolly mood ,but u need to gather all the interest bcoz that day's work would boost u up for the rest of the weekdays.
