Is almost over!! Can you believe it? I don't know where the time went! So what did you accomplish this month? Did you keep all those resolutions you made earlier this month? Didn't make any? Well then, it's not too late!! What would you like to improve in your life? Make some goals! I plan to eat healthier this year and get more exercise. So far I'm doing pretty good with both of these. We have been bowling on a weekly basis, just need to keep this up!! How about you? Do you need to make some new goals or resolutions?

I didn't make any resolutions because I never manage to keep them - much easier to succeed that way :) Wow - end of January, that means my oldest, #1 son is going to be 32 in 2 days - oh goodness I'm feeling old.

Hey sweetie, the month isn't over yet. Stay positive and put a little extra effort into the search. I bet next week will be better, it will be the 1st week of February! Good luck in your search!

I didn't make any resolutions but the passing years are showing me that I'm becoming wiser. The thing I'm working on is to put the things I've learned to work for me in an effort to improve my lot. I'd like to think I'm more tolerant but I know I still have a long way to go. I'd like to be able to accept the things I can't change and put the past behind me. I'm much too hard on myself and my own worst enemy so I'm working on feeling like I'm an ok sort of person. You're doing great so far and it seems you haven't set the bar too high which is what a lot of people seem to do. Keep up the good work my friend...and brightest blessings.

I didn't really make any resolutions this year. The only thing I am looking to do right now is get my anxiety under control. I am working on it, but we are gone a lot so I haven;t been able to start the counseling yet. Later in the year, when we aren't traveling as much I am planning on finishing college. I have enough credits right now to be in my Junior year. I am researching colleges right now.

I am hoping and trying to get my health under control so I can maybe go back to work this year. I have had a terrible 2007, with my health and I am seeing a specialist now and hopefully he can help me. I have problems with the nerves in my neck and it is causing me to have seisures. I am trying to eat better and get more exercise as well. I have been doing pretty good with it and have lost about 5 lbs. I would like to lose another 15 lbs. or so.

I too cannot believe we are at the end of the month already, in fact it is quite scary how fast the time seems to go. This year I decided not to make resolutions because I would never stick to them so I made them goals instead. I have set myself the goal of saving the money to have my garden done by july so i can enjoy it more in summer, if we get a summer that is!! So far I am set on this and have cut down on everything I spend in order to achieve it, I have also managed to spread the enthusiasm to the rest of the family who are now too keen on saving where ever they can, so with any luck I should have my lovely new garden very soon!! And when I get fed up of being frugal which I have done recently and think oh I will just have a little spend, then I go and take a look at my scruffy garden and it keeps me motivated!

It flew by!! I accomplished one thing - I turned 27 :-D I didn't really make resolutions but in late Dec I decided to try and make healthier meals, eat in more, and exercise. So far, I haven't exercised much but I have been watching what I eat more. I started having a slim fast at least 3-4 mornings a week, and slowly I am getting better. I want to be in better shape by my vacation in May, so I have GOT to get serious now! I'll help you and you can help me :) Go Karen!!

Too bad we don't live closer. I need motivation and someone to yell and say--NO, YOU CAN'T HAVE THAT!! I usually have to get my mind in the right frame and the rule is you don't buy it at the store, you don't eat it. It's hard sometimes but I do much better when my husband doesn't go grocery shopping with me. I finally got him into eating more cereal and granola bars for breakfast. That's a start!

My goals for the New Year are the same as yours, to eat more healthy and to exercise more. I have been doing well with the goals too. Since Nov 1st, I have lost 23 pounds and I have been exercising on average 3 times per week for at least 30 minutes a day. Some days I do an exercise tape, some days I ride my recumbent bicycle and others I go for a walk outside. I hope to keep this up. I must say that I feel much better and have much more energy.

January flew by and it was NOT a good month for me. Especially today. But I know February will be better! At least we have Valentine's Day to look forward to.

Yea, January passes me in a jiffy. I haven't had any resolutions for this year because I don't seem to keep them up *laughs*. I think my big resolution this year would be work hard on my internet stuff and see how much it would make me at the end of the year, and it's been so far so good these days.

I think December and january are the 2 months that goes by the fastest. December goes by the fastest because of the the anticipation of christmas and new years eve. January goes by fast because your happy that the holidays is over and everthing goes back to normal. After january 1st. But yeah time goes by fast still feels like yesterday it was christmas and its been over a month since christmas.

I don't remember a January going this fast before. Usually it's cold and it seems to just drag on. We have had more warm weather but also lots more rain so still really dreary weather here.

I also think this month has just flown by! I don't make resolutions because I never keep them! I do have a goal to get healthier this year, but it's somewhat vague. Great idea to go bowling. It's fun, so you don't really think about it at the time that you're getting exercise! I'm trying to track down dance dance revolution for the wii. I've heard it's enough to make you pass out! I want to try it as an exercise program. lol

I can't believe either that January has flown past, usually January is very slow and long! But this January I have actually enjoyed, because I have done loads of things which I am proud on and that finally I am putting my past behind me. I have been back to the places I used to love to go, I have ventured out of my home and come out of hiding without fear that my ex is after me. I have taken some great leisurely country walks to suppress my Winter Blues. I have made enquiries about my local gym, I have also start to appreciate life and the little things, so all in all a very good January for me.

That's good to hear! I'm glad you have been having some fun for a change! I am just hoping the dreary weather will go quickly and we will have an early spring here in the south! Crazy weather...warm one day, freezing the next and then rain, rain, rain. I may go crazy before we have good weather though.
