New Doc In Town

Dr. Ian Devlin, what are your first impressions? Personally, I don't really find him any kind of Dr Hottie and I can't get passed the Devlin name. There was a crazy doctor on Port Charles for awhile by the name of Julie Devlin and I believe she also had a dad on staff at GH until they killed him off. I can't help but wonder if this Doctor Ian is any relationship to her and will he end up crazy like her? Remember she played havac with Lucy Coe's life. Had a baby, Lucy adopted it (with Scotty) and then she kidnapped her child back and after a couple of years just gave her back again when it became known she was dying? Hmmm I just can't help thinking they used the same name for some reason...what do you all, my avid GH'er friends think about this?

I had forgotten that character! I wonder if he will wind up being a relation. You can never tell.
I also agree that his isn't anything to swoon over. He is mildly attractive, but knows it. He thinks he's all that and a bag of chips! That is the worst kind of moderately cute guy.
There are actually doctors at my nursing home who are mildly attractive who think all the nurses drool over them. We don't! Just because they are nice to look at, doesn't mean we all want to rip off his clothes and get busy.

I think they are just putting to my s*x into the show. I mean, it sure gives doctors and nurses a "bad name" when all these shows (Prime time ones included) focus on who is doing what with whom, where and on what.
Come on, another "cute" doctor? Give me a break. Another s*x scandale? give me a break! But today when Monica pulled the stops on Tracy in retaliation for her malpractic suit on Monica, I say "good going Monica". And thank you writers for a storyline that isn't about s*x and the love triangles and

I am not impressed. Of course I thought Patrick was a smart a** too. Of course Patrick is attractive and I don't get any vibes from Ian. He seems to be even more of a player than Patrick has been. And conceited. I am so glad that Layla blew him off. Of course it is yet to be seen if GH plays hem as the good or bad guy. I would kind of like to see how he works with Patrick.

I agree. I don't think he's that hot at all. I couldn't understand why they would think anyone would "swoon" over him. lol I vaguely remember the name Devlin too. But I forgot it was connected to Lucy. He made it sound like he and Patrick had gone to school together.

I remember Lucy Coe - wish they'd bring her back - can you see it...Lucy and Spenelli? What a hoot that'd be! Remember the Nurse's Balls? She was so much fun on those! She got a bit 'calmer' on Port Charles and when she got the little girl, I didn't watch it every day - got bored with it. But loved the first episode series - about when the one guy found that old 1970's computer (remember those huge giants!) and was talking to someone back in the 70's...turned out to be Karen's mother who was considering an abortion when Scott Baldwon got her pregnant with Karen and this guy was currently Karen's boyfriend nad he "went back in time" to stop her from having the abortion?

How funny would it be if Lucy ended up being Spinelli's mom? I wonder who his dad will end up being. We are supposed to find out sometime this year. There are only a few men on the canvas who are old enough to be his dad. Sonny, Mac, Trevor, Luke, Edward or how about Coleman? I wait with baited breath to learn his parentage.

I hope they do a good storyline with Spenilli's dad. Thing is, they keep pairing characters up and divorcing nad marrying and dating and all - it is getting to where everyone in the show is related to everyone else is some distant way...her mother is his sisters third child by her second husband, who is the nephew to his fathers third wife who had an affair with him who is her mother's brother.....
Young and Restless is getting like this - all the women have been married to all the men at least once!

I'm not old enough to remember those days. I have been watching this as long as I can remember and I know Lucys name But I cant place her or any of the story lines to go with. Anyway I don't think hes that cute but when I look at him I see "soap opera" written all over him. He just has that classic "soap" look to him.
